  • "We are a nice stay at the Apple Loft however there were a few things we do need to feedback."

The fridge may not be at the right setting, milk we bought during the week had curdled by day 3, while still being in date. On the last night, in the storm, rain started coming through the roof, above the stairs, dripping down the walls and onto the floor. Also puddles formed at the back door. We had to use all the towels to mop it up.

  • "What a wonderfull place."

Absaloutley stunning cottage and very quite. Clean tidy and modern with a wonderfull cottage feel. I stayed on my own but my family came and went anytime they wanted with no problems. The welcome wine butter bread milk and biscuits was a lovely touch and was enough to not have to shop before u get there. It was a home from home and will 100 percent return. Me being me would of liked a tv upstairs as I fall asleep with a tv on. But that's just a personal thing. Close to shops beach and town highly recommend

  • "It was a very pleasant stay with the host at the Apple Loft."

Very clean and superbly designed, with private access to a garden. The host provided Sky TV and SMART TV, and a lot of fans or heaters. Plenty of safe parking (off the road) and recycling bins are also available. We can see ourselves staying in the winter months as well. The host provided us with a nice greeting present in the fridge (a drink and some traditional local snacks), Thank you! The location was excellent. From the Apple Loft, you can reach the most popular Dorest destinations within 20-40 miles by car. Also, from the cottage a 10-12 mins walk to the beech cafe for breakfast or lunch etc.. - access to the beach with superb sea views. . Also, a local newsagent is nearby. We shall be back again sometime soon. Thank you. This was the perfect STAYCATION!

  • "The accomodation is very comfortable and well appointed, unfortunately the stairs to the bedroom are very steep and not easy to negotiate so would be totally unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues."

This was not made clear in the description and whilst it was not an issue for us - it will be for others ! The garden area needs the trees cutting back to enable safer / easier access to what is a really useful outside sheltered area for BBQs, sundowners etc

  • "Excellent 6 days the Apple Loft new for July 2021, the property itself was fantastic and fully equipped, decorated very tastefully, 15 minutes walk to Bowleaze beach Allen the owner was very friendly & helpful, even getting extra fan cooled units for the property due to the hottest week of the year so far (no complaints on this either!"

) All in all a brilliant 6 days, we would return and also recommend to family & friends

  • "The Loft was clean and well Equipped and there was a lovely welcome pack."

The owner was lovely and very helpful. On the down side: It is on a very busy main road, so quiet noisy. The stairs to the bedroom are steep the bed is In the middle of two rafters so you have to bend over to get in and out of bed not ideal. The dining room and living has a glass roof making it unbearably hot during the day; we did mention this to the owner and I think he may get an Air conditioner.
