  • "Had an amazing stay at Harbour views."

The property was lovely and spacious and everything we needed for a weekend stay with 9 adults and 3 children was provided. There was a welcome pack that was very much appreciated . Loved the the fact that there were games and items that we used for the beach in the garage . Steve the owner reached out to me several times with helpful tips and suggestion regarding the area . Also loved the blackboard with tips of things to do . I would happily go back Tomorrow if I could . I will definitely recommend this house to Friends and family . Thank you Steve for an amazing stay .

  • "We had a lovely stay at Harbour Views for our Golden Wedding anniversary family get-together; the house is spacious and comfortable, with everything you could need."

As stated in the details, the drive up to the house is very steep, but do-able. Wouldn’t like to try it in icy conditions though!

Ideal for a get together. Loved the huge dining table that could accommodate all 12 of us to share meals together. The host was extremely personable and there if needed. Would recommend and hope to return.

We were 12 family members and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Harbour Views. The house was really clean, comfortable, and inviting! We had everything we needed. Thank you, Steve, we would love to come back! x

Hi Ellen, I would be pleased to have you and your family stay again. There is a new E bike hire available. It is 4hours of hire to ride with sat nav guidance from Poole to show everyone the local sights based at Rockley Beach. Hope you get chance to stay again. Steve Property Owner

  • "Lovely house with good facilities, plenty of crockery etc."

Nice & clean. Couple more tea towels would be good with so many people staying. Host mentioned low water pressure so showers were rather slow - maybe install a booster pump as definitely nowhere near power showers. Bath overflow mechanism needs attention as was dropping out of bath (reported to owner)and plug was also not functioning properly. V steep drive caused a few issues with car undersides & bumpers, so after first attempt & hearing scrapes, decided to park on the road. But overall a lovely house & enjoyed the stay.

  • "Would highly recommend Harbour Views as a holiday home."

House is very well kitted out, nice furniture and comfortable beds. Owner is very responsive and attentive, and clearly puts a lot of thought and care into making sure guests have everything they need. Appreciated the lovely tree and decorations for Christmas. Cooking facilities were among the best we have had in properties we have rented. Also very useful having the extra fridge in the annex as the one in the main kitchen filled up quickly. Smart TV very useful for watching Prime and Netflix. Great location between Poole and Bournemouth, so very convenient for both.

  • "As a family, we meet up for a long weekend away once or twice each year."

Harbour Views is the best property we have ever stayed in. Clean, spacious and cosy. In a wonderful location and incredibly well equiped. Even the very steep drive provided my family with the entertainment of watching me struggle up and down it.

Fabulous house lovely and clean location perfect Steve was very helpful and was there within half hour to fix a problem my only concern was the funny smell from drains before we left which I’m sure 100% would have been sorted if we had gone for longer than weekend would Definitely go here again and would recommend

  • "Beautiful home in a good location."

Ample space for our large family group plus a pup too. Decor is great, the house is very well equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Steve was great and very helpful too! Be mindful that older/less mobile family members will need help getting up the driveway but this is a minor point and beautiful location and lovely house more than make up for this. An excellent holiday property in a lovely location - I would recommend without hesitation!

  • "We found the fridge too small for 14 people."

We were told that we could have a BBQ but there was no BBQ provided, so we took our own, only to find a really good gas BBQ on the premises! The house was really great for 14 people (apart from the fridge) and the house could do with another drying rack for clothes. On the plus side we had a wonderful week and would recommend it but to be very careful with the very steep driveway.

  • "Great house and spacious for 14, enjoyed a fabulous holiday week here and it’s a good location to explore the beautiful area and it’s many beaches."

The owner, Steve, was helpful and responsive at all times, thanks again for quickly coming to our rescue when we locked ourselves out! Only watch out would be that it does have steep hills in the area, including the main driveway, which was tougher for our elderly guests to climb. We had a great week, would recommend and hope to visit again in the future

The host even provided a little welcome pack including coffee, tea, milk, biscuits and even a bottle of prosecco! There were even fab recommendations in the house and as we were not local, these were very helpful! The driveway was too steep for our car to get up and the host did pre-warn about this before our stay. However, there was plenty of space on the road to park! Would definitely recommend.

Large and spacious and extremely well equipped in the kitchen with all the utensils, cooking pans etc you would need. Whole property was very clean and tidy. There were 10 of us so it was quite busy at times but the layout suited the whole family. Contact from owner before we arrived was friendly and helpful particularly about the drive. Close to Poole centre but very quiet area and easy to reach other parts of the coast and places of interest.

The owner was excellent contacting me in advance with info and at the end of our stay too. Only things to note: driveway is very steep and games room accessed only from outside which we didn't realise. Perhaps we missed the details on the Web page. Parking for 3 + cars and nice enclosed gardens (safe for dogs). All the facilities you need. Quite residential location with good amenities, local shops, pubs, restaurants, etc within 10 - 15 minute walk. Sandbank beach 10 minute drive (younger members of family walked). Poole town centre is not great but the surrounding countryside and coastline has so much to offer. We could not do it all in a week.
