It is ancient , and a better mattress would help. There was no hair dryer which we really missed having, also no wardrobe in my room which you would need if staying longer The sink in the “bathroom” was only for hands. It is so small you couldn’t have a proper wash in it, and it is the only one in the cottage. Luckily there was a shower although the pressure so low, the water was always boiling . The scenery was magnificent and we were lucky there was no visitors in the other cottages. I do feel £500 extreme for three nights when we were out all day, but it was a thank you to a friend who helped me out when I was in a desperate situation. A sign on a tree , opposite the lane would be useful As driving home in the dark you can’t see signs. If I hadn’t had a passenger I don’t think I would have got home
