Newfield Farm Cottages

Situated on a working arable farm with horses, on the outskirts of Pimperne village in Dorset, Newfield Farm Cottages are a wonderful, three-cottage complex set inside a beautiful brick barn conversion. The grounds that the cottages are located in are well laid out, with ample off road parking and a shared lawned garden with private patio areas for each property. There is also a games room and play area, shared between the entire complex, where you can enjoy games of table tennis, table football and darts, or venture outside to play croquet, or one of the many other games available. Inside each cottage are beautiful exposed brick walls and wooden beams, but all are unique in their layout and have their own character that we’re sure you’ll fall in love with. Pimperne has a village shop and Post Office, as well as two lovely, local pubs that serve food. A few miles further down the road, you can visit the Badbury Rings Iron-Age hill fort, the National Trust’s stunning Kingston Lacy House, or explore the Jurassic and West Dorset Heritage coastline.The market town of Blandford Forum is just four miles away, where you can visit a number of museums, take a brewery tour, or simply browse the market stalls that visit the town twice a week. The town also as a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Set in the Cranborne Chase AONB, this wonderful region of Dorset has plenty to offer people of all ages. From visiting the multitude of lovely towns, visiting the many attractions from Monkey World, the Tank Museum, Adventure Wonderland Theme Park, or walking along the stunning Dorset coastline, there is something to entertain everyone! The property

This beautifully-renovated brick barn conversion was designed with large families and groups of friends in mind.

Rose Cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 11 people, with ample room for sleeping, cooking, eating and socialising together as you plan your holiday.

Inside Rose Cottage are a total of six wonderful bedrooms; two rooms have super king-size beds which can be made into twin beds if preferred, one of which has an en-suite shower room, and there is also a flexible twin/double bedroom, a single room and two rooms with bunk beds.

As well as three of the bedrooms, the ground floor also offers a fantastic kitchen, perfectly equipped for cooking large, high-quality family meals.

There is a breakfast table in the kitchen for six, whilst the main dining room offers a huge dining space for up to 19 people!

There is a main sitting room with comfortable sofas, a woodburner and lovely views of the stables at the back of the cottage, as well as an alternate sitting area for four in the large dining room.

Here, you can get some peace and quiet and catch up on some reading, or just watch a bit of TV.

Out front is a patio and a shared lawned garden, where you can relax on warm summer evenings and enjoy a tasty BBQ.

Kids can have fun in the adjoining games room, or enjoy some reading in the snug above it.

Pimperne is a thriving little community only 1.5 miles from the attractive North Dorset market town of Blandford Forum. To the north of the village lies Cranborne Chase, an area of outstanding natural beauty, where you can find Larmer Tree Gardens, a wonderful collection of ornate buildings and secluded arbours. Set on the banks of the River Stour, the Georgian town of Blandford Forum is well worth a visit. There's a market here twice a week, and lots of boutiques, antique shops, galleries and restaurants to enjoy. Also within the town, the Cavalcade of Costume museum is well worth a visit, or you can take a tour around the local brewery, a must for real ale fanatics, while the Royal Signals Museum at nearby Blandford Army Camp provides a fascinating insight into the world of espionage! An easy drive takes you to Dorset's stunning Heritage Coast, as well as Thomas Hardy's beloved Dorchester. In fact, there's so much to do in this lovely area at any time of the year, you're spoilt for choice!
