The implication is that these can be seen from the flat when they cannot. ...

The implication is that these can be seen from the flat when they cannot. The flat is overlooked from the properties and, although we did not go at a time of the year when we would use the outside area, if it was shared by the other flats it would be very intrusive for anyone in the flat we were in, being directly in front of the lounge. It was a pity there were scaffolders banging and sawing throughout the day. We were out for the mornings but wanted to come back and relax in the afternoons and the noise rather spoilt this. It was very difficult to get the heating right. There were no instructions other than the hearing would come on if it dropped below 14 and to put it on auto if we needed to but this did not always work and we were either too hot or too cold, especially cold in the evenings and first thing in the morning.

“The flat was lovely there was a great size garden with a brick bar b que and shed,and nice large living quarters,furniture comfortable,bonus that the 2 seater leather sofa was dual reclinging,only 1 fly in the ointment was the king size bed,it was a low one and I measured it and it was only 1 ft off the floor and the mattress was sunk into the bedstead,as 2 oldies and me with a bad back and 2 new hips had a real job getting up in the morning,the mattress was very comfortable though,the kitchen was so well stocked even things I usually take on holidays were there much to our surprise,it would of been nice to have a clock in the bedroom and bathroom,it was very clean everywhere,all in all very good,would go again,thank you.”

Had a lovely holiday central to everything, we really had a great time , did try to book again but was fully booked luckily we managed to get a holiday rental up the road , deposits have gone up 10x

Outside area very practical and neat. The lady I spoke to was very helpful regarding a problem we had. This was much better than a previous place I used last year in the same area. I loved the easy access to the beach no need to use my car.

The flat had been cleaned, but not the oven which was very dirty. The toaster was also full of old crumbs. This spoilt what could have been an excellent property.

“Great location for a lovely beach (5 minutes walk) with natural cliffs, life guards, cafe, ice cream and clean toilets.”

Local shops are also easily reached and there is a great deli and traditional sweet shop. The secure garden is a sun trap (west facing). We had a delightful week with grandsons aged 5 and 3 and the weather was very kind to us. The apartment is so close to the beach that on a couple of days we went back for lunch, leaving our beach equipment on one occasion.

“This was our second stay at Beach Retreat and we are hoping to return again.”

The flat is spacious, spotless, caters for every need and is in an ideal location, with the coast 5 minutes in one direction and a lovely parade of shops 5 minutes away in the other direction. The added bonus of a large garden is a big plus point, it’s lovely and quiet to relax in after a busy day. Honestly cannot fault this property

It is well equipped and very clean. The garden is a lovely space to spend sunny evenings in. This was an excellent base for us when we explored the Jurassic coast. We were travelling with our parents who have dietary restrictions so having a well equipped kitchen was a big factor and this cottage was great. Liz is a lovely host and she gave us very clear instructions on locating the house and instructions for keys etc. We will definitely want to visit again!

“Fabulous ground floor apartment with a private garden.”

Hotel quality bedding and towels. In easy reach of the beach via a cliff lift, local independent shops within a 5 mins walk. Ideal for a young family who don't want the hustle and bustle of Bournemouth but want to be in easy reach of the traditional seaside holiday activities if they're needed. What made our holiday even more fantastic was the weather. All this and an allocated parking space !
