The property

Formally known as the Lillians and, overlooking the rolling fields of Bride Valley in Dorset, Bride Valley View is a charismatic three-bedroom semi-detached cottage set in the peaceful rural village of Puncknowle. Bride Valley View is an ideal holiday home for a family or couples with a beautiful cottage garden leading, via a gate, to a children's play park, Bride Valley View can accommodate up to five guests in three bedrooms which are all on the first floor.

All rooms are tastefully decorated with bright pastel colours. On the ground floor is the sitting room with level entry from the hallway where you can unwind by the open fire and read a magazine or a book.

Borrow a book from the many available on the shelf and step into the different world before drifting off to sleep.

Enjoy your breakfast with delightful views to the garden, if the sun is shining, step outside and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee outdoors.

Within easy striking distance of the coast Bride Valley View is a favoured location for both sea and countryside lovers.

As well as the stunning coastal and rural walks on your doorstep, the village itself is blessed with a very good pub, The Crown Inn which also boasts a community shop.

There are number of villages nearby worth exploring; Abbotsbury with its sub-tropical gardens and a unique Swannery, West Bexington which fronts the famous Chesil beach and Burton Bradstock, a picture postcard village.

Venturing out further still, you can explore the nearby market town of Bridport to the West.

Weymouth with its Georgian seafront, old harbour and award-winning sandy beach is a lazy drive along the coast road with breath-taking scenery to the East. If you are looking for a tranquil and relaxing holiday in the countryside a short drive away from the beach and bigger towns then Bride Valley View is a perfect cottage for you.

Puncknowle

Puncknowle is a charming village of stone cottages surrounded by the beautiful bride valley on one side and a down land ridge that shelters the village from the sea on the other. Pronounced ‘Punnle’ this is a great location for exploring the Jurassic Coast and surrounding countryside. Just 1.5 mile from the famous Chesil Beach, you can enjoy beach walks or coast road drives with spectacular views. The Market town of Bridport is only 5 miles away where you can find all the amenities you need including many independent cafes and restaurants. Abbotsbury is under 5 miles away and has much to offer, from Tropical gardens to the Swannery bird reserve. If that wasn’t enough the village is chocolate box pretty and filled with local artists and craftsmen who have their own shops to explore. St Catherine’s chapel sits above the village and can be see for miles along the coast line, enjoy the walk from the village to the Chapel and enjoy the reciprocal views
