    “Loved the cottage.”

The only thing I would comment on is that the property would benefit from independent secondary heating. A small electric heater to take the chill off in a room without needing to rely on the heating coming on. I was confused by the photograph on the information. The picture is depicting part of the village no where near the property. Why does it not depict the property itself?

The property

Steeped in village life, resting opposite the church and neighbouring a 16th century pub is this traditional mid-terrace thatched dwelling, Chestnut Cottage, situated at the heart of the village of Puncknowle.

This characterful accommodation is the perfect setting to come back to each evening and to enjoy all that the Dorset countryside has to offer.

Upon entering the property, you are welcomed into the large sitting room, where the inglenook fireplace takes centre stage before the plush sofas, creating the perfect setting to catch up on your favourite TV shows or read a great book.

Moving through the property will bring you to a brightly decorated kitchen/dining room, which boasts everything you could possibly need to cater for yourselves during a week-long break, plus a dining space where the patio doors can be opened up to filter in a cooling breeze during a summer’s evening.

Upstairs you will find a large double bedroom with views over the garden and surrounding countryside, a large twin with double aspect windows and finally a well-presented double to the front of the property.

If you can tear yourself away from this idyllic setting, spend special occasions within the local pub which comes with a superb menu catering to all tastes.
