Dating back over 100 years, The Barn is a characterful conversion has been renovated to provide a comfortable and modern holiday home.

Located next to the owner's house, the cottage has its own entrance and enclosed patio garden.

Close to the rolling hills of Dorset and with many different walking routes close by, The Barn is perfect for a couple of small family wishing to experience the charm of the countryside.

The ground floor offers a well-equipped kitchen where you can put together your next delicious meal.

Come through to the lounge/diner and curl up after a busy day on the sofa in front of the TV.

Upstairs are two comfortable double bedrooms.

Relax outside in the evening air with a nice drink and patio. The Crown is the nearest pub and is around a three-minute walk.

Providing meals and a variety of beverages including local beer it could be the ideal place for a night off from cooking.

A community shop is opening in the pub selling locally sourced groceries. The coast is around a mile away, where you also explore the spectacular Chesil Beach and Jurassic coast - the perfect location for beachcombing, fishing or just enjoying the views Abbotsbury with its sub-tropical gardens and a unique Swannery is a short drive away and offers many attractions for wandering around.

Around six miles away to the West is the market Town of Bridport with a variety of markets including antiques and farmers along with a good high street and Weymouth with its Georgian seafront, old harbour and sandy beach is a lazy drive along the coast road through picture postcard villages and breath-taking scenery to the East.

The Barn it is the ideal base to explore the many options Dorset presents to guests.

Puncknowle is a charming village of stone cottages surrounded by the beautiful bride valley on one side and a down land ridge that shelters the village from the sea on the other. Pronounced ‘Punnle’ this is a great location for exploring the Jurassic Coast and surrounding countryside. Just 1.5 mile from the famous Chesil Beach, you can enjoy beach walks or coast road drives with spectacular views. The Market town of Bridport is only 5 miles away where you can find all the amenities you need including many independent cafes and restaurants. Abbotsbury is under 5 miles away and has much to offer, from Tropical gardens to the Swannery bird reserve. If that wasn’t enough the village is chocolate box pretty and filled with local artists and craftsmen who have their own shops to explore. St Catherine’s chapel sits above the village and can be see for miles along the coast line, enjoy the walk from the village to the Chapel and enjoy the reciprocal views
