The house was light and airy as well as being vey clean ,with everything we needed in the kitchen .We didn’t need to use the neatly laid wood burner as the rooms were all very cosy. We really appreciated the comfortable beds with their Egyptian cotton linens. Thank you to Marion and her husband for looking after us so well and sorting out the small issue we had very quickly.

Country Living at its best; luxury and comfy at the same time. Beautifully, tastefully furnished throughout. The underfloor heating made the colder evenings enjoyable and temps are easy to modify to your own expectations. And, the fireplace was especially nice in the evenings. The kitchen is spacious, well stocked...and it has a Washer AND a Dryer! The grounds surrounding your home are so spectacular you will feel as if you are living in your very own park land. We were sad to leave but look forward to our next visit.

Clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The beds are very comfortable with lovely soft bedding. The downstairs wet room was ideal for our elderly relative. The patio and garden are also very nice and a good place to sit and have breakfast or coffee outside or to relax in the sun. The local area has many villages and pubs. The Cartwheel in Whitsbury is fantastic and The Bat and Ball in Breamore also very good. We would have liked to have tried the Rose and Thistle in Rockbourne but it was closed when we wanted to eat there. We would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation

Fresh flowers on our arrival were lovely and we appreciated the use of the garden. One problem was the remote to open the entrance gate which was very frustrating and took numerous attempts to eventually work. I had hoped by mentioning it after we arrived it would be resolved. Thanks for two great weeks - and fabulous sunshine.

I am so Sorry to be slow with this , the dodgy remote has now been exchanged. Thank you for your feedback . Property Owner

  • "The property was exactly as described."

It was roomier than expected and comfortable. The heating remained a mystery and the Coach House was quite cold in the mornings but probably too warm in the evening. I did point it out to Pippa who said that the bedroom was always cold due to the high ceiling (not really satisfactory and that we should not touch the controllers. I did try but it made no odds. Blackout blinds in the bedroom would be of great value as it was getting light by 4.30 am. A book of comments from previous tenants would be useful especially with respect to places to visit and eat. There is a huge file of leaflets but most of them are out of date. The rusty patio set needs replacing, fortunately we took out own camping chairs. Overall a great property in a very quiet area.

Dear Mr.C. Thank you for your feedback all of which has been noted.I’m so sorry you didn’t use the extra radiator provided if you were cold , and you didn’t use the garden cushions provided ,for the outside furniture & sun beds.! With many thanks & best wishes. Property Owner

  • "This property is wonderfully light and spacious, surrounded by beautiful gardens."

It is a very peaceful place to stay but within easy driving distance of local towns and The New Forest. The beds were very comfortable, the sitting room looked out over the gardens and the kitchen was huge however we found it was lacking in good quality equipment and needed updating. The fridge had no usable door pockets and the wheels on the dishwasher baskets kept falling off. There was no kitchen roll, clingfilm or silver foil which has always been provided in previous cottages we have stayed in and is always a nice touch. Despite these slight frustrations we had a lovely stay and would consider returning next year.

Thank you so much for your feedback, and your suggestions which we have actioned .I hope you also enjoyed the fresh flowers in the rooms , and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future. With Best wishes. Property Owner

It was warm and comfortable in a lovely quiet setting. The accommodation was clean and well equipped with plenty of storage space and towels, although some of the kitchen utensils could do with upgrading and maybe the toaster.Great location for visiting all the sights around the New Forest and Dorset is within easy reach. N.B.The bedroom tv wasn't working during our stay and the living room tv seemed to have quite limited channels, however this may well have now been rectified.

A fabulous property in a stunning location, which offered perfect amenities for my sister who is a wheelchair user. The house is beautiful combined with the stunning gardens and such peaceful surroundings. The house has everything you need for a relaxing break. We were looking for somewhere where our children could have a separate bedroom. In this case they had a complete floor to themselves with bedroom and bathroom (which they enjoyed as much as we did). It couldn’t have been more ideal for us, and I am sure other like minded families.
