    “Amaranta was a lovely property.”

Very clean and comfortable. Nice quiet location but close to sea and pubs and harbour. The weather was gorgeous we really had a good week. We would definitely book this property again. Stayed July 2018

This is a pretty house on the popular but quiet Maltings development on the site of the old Devenish brewery.

On the ground floor is a well equipped kitchen, diner, prefect for cooking a lovely dinner and then enjoying it at the dining table before you sit back and relax in the comfy living room.

Up to the bedrooms, leads to a single room suitable The enclosed patio garden is a nice calming setting, with an area of lawn perfect for the pets to enjoy the space.

Amaranta is nicely apportioned house which has been sensibly equipped and furnished by the owners offering a good home from home.

It is in a perfect position for guests visiting Weymouth.

The Maltings housing development lies approximately five minutes’ walk away from the busy Brewers Quay area with its numerous eating places and array of pubs which all lead to the pretty Harbour.

About the location

BREWERS QUAY HARBOUR

Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated at the heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. This area is now a popular destination with many restaurant’s café and bars making it a vibrant area where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked in the harbourside streets here you will find original Tudor harbour buildings estimated to have built 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible facts and artefacts, there is more to this seaside town than meets the eye. The harbour is home to the lifting bridge where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge into the town with it’s winding streets of boutique shops and onto the seafront Esplanade and beach. Brewers Quay is a much loved location in Weymouth.
