  • “Generally everything was very good.”

Location is good for exercising dogs and for walking in to town. I rated the comfort a bit low because the double bed was quite small and that gave us trouble sleeping - that is not obvious from the listing. The shiny wood of the spiral staircase was a little precarious in stockinged feet and matting would have been preferred - I know that sounds picky and matting would be harder to clean but that and the size of the double would stop us booking again. ...

It would also be nicer to have a consistent set of cutlery as well rather than a random collection including old ivory handles. A decent set is available from Ikea for £15 so not a big outlay: https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/dragon-24-piece-cutlery-set-stainless-steel-90091760/ The towel rail in the bathroom didnt get warm and I couldnt turn it on. I know I should have reported that to give the opportunity to fix it but we didnt want the intrusion (apologies!) Generally the kitchen was well equipped and I was impressed with the inclusion of a pestle and mortar - my salsa verde would have been a bit trickier without that :-) I dont want to give the impression that this is a bad review because it isnt intended to be - The place was clean and functional and in a good location. It was a little bit quirky but good for pet owners to holiday at
