  • "This fabulous historic building has one of the best outlooks on Weymouth Harbour and all its many activities."

You could sit in the window and watch the views all day long. The apartment is spacious and beautifully furnished throughout. Do bear in mind there are four flights of wide winding stairs with landings on each level. Sadly the cooking utensils are cheap, with poor surface for cleaning and poor handles. The knives aren't sharp and in need of a sharpening device. (blunt knives are more dangerous than sharp knives). Sealant around sink and bathroom is poor and could quickly deteriorate the timbers and edges, causing mould etc. Such a shame all these point not a requirement, by the letting agents. Parking can be a problem, however we paid online to have a weeks parking in the nearby Asda Supermarket for £12 per 7 days. A little known secret that even Supermarket staff wont tell you, as it requires a parking app "Just Park".

One small quibble was that we had to climb over the furniture to pull the blinds in the bedroom. Not easy for two eighty pluses! Otherwise it was a lovely stay.Thank you.

Decor fab, Very clean If I had to pick anything out it would be the shower that needs some attention around the base. Otherwise attention to detail was spot on. Thank you would stay again.

  • "Hi there, we really enjoyed our stay in your beautiful property."

We loved the high ceilings, overall space, elegant high end furnishing and stunning harbour views. The atmosphere and events outside the week we stayed were brilliant though the road closure did cause a problem in getting the car close enough to the property to load up heavy holiday bags on our departure. Arrivals would have had the same problem if they arrived on the same day we departed. After driving around backwards and forwards for half an hour a steward finally directed us to Trinity street outside Londis which was just around the corner from the property, very tight but doable. My only complaint would be it would have been helpful to have been informed about road restructions and/or the alternative place to load the car up as it made for a very stressful morning on the morning of our departure with a 3 and 6 year old to keep entertained as we tried to figure it out! FYI. The dustpan and brush needs replacing as its split- had to get hoover out to clear up small crumbs. The large button on bathroom toilet doesnt work properly, though the small button works fine. We had a fantastic stay, we really enjoyed ourselves and made some very happy memories, thank you!

  • "This flat is excellent, luxurious and well equipped."

The location is perfect, in the centre of town, with views of the harbour, but little if any noise. Just fabulous. There's parking too, (though not outside the flat, but a short walk away). We didn't want to leave. Just be aware it is on the second floor and there's no lift, so luggage has to be carried up 4 flights of wonky stairs: but it's worth it. Only other small gripe was rubbish disposal is difficult. (A map is provided!) But no matter, we will be back.

  • "A lovely clean and comfortable apartment with excellent views of the harbour and only a stones throw away from the beach, shops, bars and pavillion theatre."

We were there while the Jurassic Coast bus was still running and made full use of it to go to Lulworth Cove/Durdle Door, Dorchester & West Bay. Two great boat trips from outside the apartment along the Jurassic Coast and over to the Portland Bill marina. As the apartment is on the 2nd floor with 4 flights of stairs to climb, this would not be suitable for those with mobility problems. The car park is a 5 minute walk away which needs to be taken into account but as we used the buses all week, it was not a problem for us.

Rotting away :( -- GREAT customer service - toilet issues in main bathroom "dealt with" in minutes on arrival -- Parking fabulous -- Views - STUNNING -- Noise - minimal -- Storage space - EXCELLENT

  • "We had a lovely stay here."

The apartment was perfect for us and possibly the cleanest one we have stayed in. The views over the harbour in our opinion couldn’t be bettered. There are a number of stairs to carry up cases but they weren’t steep. Overall we loved this property and location. We would definitely book it again.

  • "Enjoyed our visit to this property and the surrounding area so much, earlier this year, we decided to come again for a further week."

On the plus side, as ever, it was spotlessly clean and it was great to see the cooker had been replaced. The extractor fans for both bathrooms are now fully working as they weren`t during our last visit. Always useful when the letting company provide a few essential items like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. On the downside..... The en-suite shower off the main bedroom still leaks all over the bathroom floor. Many of the chandelier lights (lounge & hallway) only had 2 / 3 bulbs working out of 5. There was no bulb to one of the bedside lamps, also in the main bedroom? And finally, really surprised there seems to be no facility to recycle anything either inside the property (only one bin) and there`s only one "bin" for all rubbish outside? That said, the property is well appointed in a great location and makes a great base for staying in Weymouth or visiting the surrounding area.

  • "We had a few issues."

The lock on the apartment door (which has been dodgy for a few years) I was once locked in the apartment ,wouldn't lock. The maintenance guy was great and fitted a new barrel, the door is finally fixed. We needed a new kettle. (very quick delivery) Problem with the en suite shower door, still not completely fixed, water on floor. On the plus side a brand new mattress in the main bedroom. A guy was smoking in the yard and coughing so loudly at 2, 4 and 6am in the morning! I had to use ear plugs. (Not your fault, but I think smoking should be banned altogether) We had wonderful weather again and a lovely week away. Our 3 families have stayed in the Harbour watch apartments for over 15 years. But unfortunately, due to the massive price increases next year. I think this will be our last year. Such a shame, but the prices have almost doubled.

  • "Wow what a fantastic location and apartment."

Everything seemed liked brand new and clean and fresh. The views where lovely and with the windows open we stayed in some evenings and ate as it was easier and nicer to do so as it got quite busy in the restaurants. Parking was a little trickier as it was away from the apartment but could load and unload car from oitside apartment with no problems. There are 4 flights of 9 steps in each but once in the apartment its perfect. If somwone was had difficulty with steps once up it would make a lovely place to relax and just enjoy people watching, boat watching and the fantastic view. We will definately book again.

  • "Excellent location, view, cleanliness, information and in-flat facilities."

Only two small disappointments. The large, bottom oven doesn`t work...and this was fed back to you months ago from a previous occupant and neither of the extractor fans work in either of the bathrooms. Not a problem for us but soon you`ll be getting damp in there. Overall, a great apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you!

  • "Overall great location and a good property except a few points."

The TV did not work properly when we arrived but the maintenance team fixed that. The plumbing for the toilet needed a repair whilst we were there, which was done promptly but again it interrupted our break. The oven did not work properly on the grill setting and the casing was hanging off which you got your figures trapped in it if you were not careful. The freezer hadn't been cleaned inside so had previous occupants food spillages inside. The dish washer needs updating and or some maintenance. The mattress in the main bedroom needs replacing as it had no support in either side. The TV needs updating and could be larger for the room it would be helpful to have more options like Sky or similar. As a base it was good and the local restaurants and bars where good although some were closed due to covid. Weymouth quayside was charming and Dorset is beautiful with lots to do and see.

  • "The apartment was really excellent."

Unfortunately, the double bed in the main bedroom was really uncomfortable. I had to sleep in one of the single beds I had to report one of the curtain poles in the lounge was coming away from the wall. Also, the en-suite in the main bedroom, when showering the water ends up all over the floor. (I did report this last year)

We want to mention that the reception on the television, apart from BBC1 was not very good. It appeared to be because of the ariel connection at the back of the set. I am sure this can be fixed.
