  • "Overall very nice holiday cottage, not easy to watch TV by everyone , due to position of lounge furniture, both mattresses in single room ,if updated would improve the comfort of our stay at the Little Tern immensely."

  • "A beautiful home from home."

Spotlessly clean. Perfect location for all amenities. My only very minor recommendation would be the TV. Normal channels We could not access. The garden was compact and steep however we knew that before booking so no surprise to us. Maybe have more comfortable outdoor furniture. Absolutely loved our stay, would highly recommend this little gem.

Thank you for your lovely feedback. We’re pleased that you enjoyed your holiday, and thank you very much for bringing the TV issue to our attention. This will be looked into. Property Owner

Unfortunately the outdoor space was not secure for my dog (or any dog) as one side of fence was just wire mesh, waist high. Otherwise a, great place but not for dogs.

Very clean and tidy and smelt lovely when we walked in. Great location for walking to the harbour and town and also for walking our dog in the field behind the property. Very quiet area too which was lovely. Would definitely return.

  • "What a lovely cottage within a short walk of the Weymouth Quayside It was clean and tidy and very well provisioned for a holiday home."

Only small criticism is that the small lounge suites are a tad low and shallow for people over Hobbit size and for a winter break not comfortable sofa’s. We will book again all being said this property has been maintained to a very high standard by Dream Cottages. Many Thanks. Karen and Kevin

  • "This is a lovely little holiday cottage."

It had everything we needed and the location was good. We especially liked the gate at the end of the garden as a quicker route to the dog friendly park - which had amazing sea views! There are plenty of places to eat nearby - we especially liked Cactus Jacks and Rockfish (both dog friendly). The cove art gallery is worth a visit too - beautiful local art. It was disappointing that a previous occupant had not adhered to the no smoking rule as this left the property smelling of cigarettes. The maintenance team did explain to us that the carpet and upholstery would be cleaned in the future.

The back of cottage was a real sun trap. Everything was spotless and had everything you needed and more. It was nice there was a park just up the hill for dog walking especially in the morning. The one thing we would recommend is a non slip bath mat. We would definitely recommend Little Tern. Thank you.

Thank you for your lovely comments. I’m so pleased that you enjoyed your stay (and doggy). Also, thank you for your feedback regarding the non slip bath mat. I shall make sure that this is sorted. Property Owner

About the location

BREWERS QUAY HARBOUR

Dorchester 8.7 miles; West Lulworth 15.8 miles

Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated at the heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. This area is now a popular destination with many restaurants, café and bars, creating a vibrant culture, where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked away down the harbourside streets, you will find original Tudor harbour buildings, estimated to have been built in 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible exhibitions, and the harbour is also home to the lifting bridge, where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge to the town's winding streets of boutique shops and the seafront esplanade and beach. There is more to this seaside town than meets the eye; Brewers Quay is a much-loved holiday destination in Weymouth!

Please note: This property does not accept children under the age of 6 years old due to the steep steps at the rear. Garden may also be unsuitable for guests with reduced mobility.
