The shower head is like a hose pipe, simple to improve / replace with a better shower head. 2. no shelving in the bathroom to put toiletries which the room had plenty of space for? 3.Sink plug had been replaced with a cheap rubber plug, 4. No seal on bottom of shower screen, every time we had a shower water would go all over the floor, looks like the rubber seal had been removed 5. no instructions for cooker 6. one of the hinges on the kitchen cabinet kept coming loose ( near the cooker) On a positive the bedroom, lounge and kitchin were very comfortable and clean the bed was lovely. the car park permits are great and helpful, great place as you are close to everything, the views are not outstanding as it overlooks a post office and car park. would i stay again the answer would be yes, as it is a great central place to explore from, if the owner just picked up the bathroom issues it would improve things greatly, regards Darren

The property

A modern and stylish apartment located in the heart of the popular seaside town of Weymouth, Sail Boat provides an idea base for a couple seeking a romantic self-catering staycation on Dorset's Jurassic Coast.

Renovated with contemporary furnishings and décor, Sail Boat features two small balconies where you can enjoy the sunshine, and is just a stone's throw from all the amenities and delights of Weymouth.

Boasting a nautical theme, the living/dining room features furnishings in various hues of blue, with a sofa and armchair settled before the Smart TV, creating the perfect space to unwind with your other half.

Sit around the dining table to share a romantic meal, or dine alfresco on the balcony in warmer weather, with a bistro table and chairs to accommodate you as you sip wine and take in the distant view of the marina.

The separate kitchen hosts all you need for home-cooking, with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer among the excellent appliances.

End the day by retreating to the spacious bedroom, featuring a king-size bed, soft, pink seating and plenty of storage, leading out to a second fabulous balcony.

Freshen up in the bathroom, whether taking a relaxing soak in the tub, or having a shower to wash off the sand from the beach with the overhead attachment.

As you step onto the streets of Weymouth, you'll discover you're within a stone's throw of everything you need, from shops and cafés to restaurants and pubs, along with the gorgeous seafront.

Spend sunny days on the beach, backed by cheerful beach huts, with soft sands and waters excellent for bathing, you can watch as little ones enjoy donkey rides or book a watersporting activity with a local organiser.

Wander down to the historic harbour for a lovely stroll to see the boats bobbing at anchor, and watching the coming and goings of tall ships, boats and yachts sailing under the iconic town bridge.

Some of Weymouth's attractions include the exciting SEA LIFE Centre to meet an array of sea creatures taking residence here, or marvel at the amazing creations at Sandworld, while the classic amusements at Alexandra Gardens are sure to entertain, and any history enthusiasts can be fascinated by the Norhe Fort and Nothe Gardens.

The county town of Dorchester, with its museums, river walks and gardens is only a short drive away, as well as the seaside villages of West Bay and Burton Bradstock to the West, and Lulworth Cove and Osmington Mills to the East.
