Belinda was beyond helpful from the start as I’m not great with directions and she talked us through on how to find fox hole cottage, she greeted us and explained everything we might need to know, it has been a long time since we had seen our friends so we had planned and booked our activities for the week, staying at a beautiful cottage made it possible for us to meet up again, I cannot thank Belinda enough for her kindness in making our stay welcome , comfortable and safe would definitely recommend, it’s situated in such a beautiful place

  • "The host was really lovely and gave us advice on places of interest in the area."

The cottage was excellent very clean and comfortable. It is located just outside the New Forest and a short drive to Poole, Bournemouth and Wimbourne so the location is perfect. I would love to visit again and see more of the area.

  • "Everything we needed, in a quiet and fairly secluded holiday cottage - so secluded we had some trouble finding it at first!"

We were even left a jug of milk in the fridge so we could have cups of tea on arrival. It's a very good location - Fordingbridge is just a short drive away for shopping and various eateries, and it's not much further to drive into the national park. All in all, an excellent stay - highly recommended!

  • "We had a fabulous week in Fox Hole , for us there was one thing , we would of liked a walk in shower , and not a bath , with a hand held shower ,had a slight problem with the toilet seat , which was sorted as soon as we mentioned it ."

We visited a lot of places throughout the week .Would recommend to family and friends .

  • "This is a delightful, comfortable, well equipped place to relax and well located for visiting New Forest and coast."

The site photographs do not do it justice as the owner's garden and surrounding small holding fields are available to stroll, sit in the sun, read, breakfast on the terrace. We were given a very warm welcome and hope to return as soon as we can.

  • "The cottage is in a lovely place with lots of places to visit nearby."

The owners live next door though they didn’t intrude upon our holiday and the two properties are divided by a very tall hedge which gives privacy. However when the kettle wouldn’t work they were at the cottage door within five minutes with a replacement. We would happily return to the cottage, in fact we will probably do so as we only got to see a fraction of the places that we wanted to.

  • "It turned cold when we arrived and there was only a summer weight duvet, would have been good to have more bedding available."

Luckily weather warmed up as week progressed. Missed the description of the hand held shower, might not have booked this cottage if noticed. Small bath made bathing difficult.

  • "Fox Hole Cottage is an absolute delight."

Everything was so clean, with many little touches to make it welcoming. Belinda is a very positive host, happy to answer questions and give much welcomed 'shortcuts' to local destinations. Everything provided to a very high standard. Would definitely recommend. To add to this Fordingbridge is such a friendly place, we felt like locals by the end of our stay!

The cottage was well presented and very homely and comfortable. It was immaculately clean and well furnished. Our many thanks to Jennifer and Graham for making us so welcome.
