  • "If you want total relaxing, no fuss getaway from it all, then this is the place."

A beautiful converted cow shed turned into a spectacular clean, modern conversion. We used this to totally unwind, you will not be disappointed with this lovely place. Paula was the perfect host. Nearby attractions for the more adventurous, like stately houses and gardens and Longleat are there for you to discover.

A fabulous Cottage which is spacious but cosy and stylishly decorated and furnished. The gardens are beautiful with many places to sit and enjoy a G&T. The owner greeted us on arrival to show us around - a friendly family along with the family donkeys and pony. We would certainly stay again!

Everything you might need for a self-catering break provided. Very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Quiet and private outdoor seating in well tended garden area. Covered seating also available with of use barbecue. Very thoughtful host who left us to our own devices although can be easily contacted on an internal phone if required. Thank you Paula (and to your grandson for the beautiful flowers)

  • "The cottage was delightful, spotless, pretty and well-appointed."

Our host was ideal: warm, helpful and welcoming but left us to ourselves unless needed. The area was stunning and unspoilt, away from holiday crowds, but offering pretty villages and decent pubs to eat nearby. We had a lovely relaxing time and plan to go again.

What a gem of a place! Spotlessly clean and beautifully presented with quality furnishings and toiletries provided. Luxurious fluffy towels and bathrobes for after your soak in the huge bath! Some bad weather during our visit meant we stayed in on some days, but what a lovely spot to relax and unwind. Easy access to many beautiful places to visit. Will definitely be returning.

Paula met us on arrival and told us all we needed to know. The cottage is well equipped and has its own garden space, and covered outdoor area with a whole variety of seating areas to catch the sun at different times of the day. It is a lovely place to stay.

Paula was lovely and welcoming, left a list of recommendations for local pubs to eat/drink, which we had breakfast/dinner at and were great. We visited Bath and the Sandbanks (both within an hours drive). Would deffo return!

  • "We have recently returned from a wonderful 3-night break at Cow Drove Cottage."

Paula made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The cottage has been beautifully renovated with large airy rooms and is very tastefully decorated throughout with exceptional attention to detail. The cottage was immaculate, and every caution has been taken to ensure the cottage is Covid safe. The cottage is ideally situated in a beautiful location ideal for exploring Wiltshire, Dorset, or Somerset. Unfortunately, our car broke down on the way home so not quite the relaxed end to the holiday we had hoped, but the last few days away have been so relaxing neither of us minded too much. We cannot recommend this cottage highly enough and will most certainly will be returning when we are next in the area.
