  • "The shower was very difficult to control."

No welcome pack, not even a small jug of milk. No information (leaflets etc) about the local area - places to visit. A good tv but otherwise not even a pack of playing cards. Only 1 small hand towel provided. No baking tray, only a well used roasting tin.

  • "Superb short break at Sunnyside, thank you for the most hospitable welcome James and family"

  • "Generally the accommodation was OK, however the bathroom is well overdue for replacement."

The sink and shower water outlets are rusty. The shower base is now yellowing and the glass shower screen is not clear giving the appearance that it was unclean. The tiling grout inside the shower cubicle is mostly discoloured at the bottom half of the cubicle, also giving the appearance that it was unclean. Because of this I personally could not use the shower, it's not ideal to be without a shower for five days. I object to paying for, and be expected to use, facilities that are sub standard. All other facilities were fine, although the sellotaped TV remote only worked intermittently which was occasionally annoying. The location is lovely and the member of staff I met, James, was very pleasant indeed. Sort the bathroom out and I would be very happy to return.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay and James was friendly and helpful."

The cottage was warm welcoming and comfortable, with everything we needed. Rossi our dog also had a wonderful time, plenty of walks including beach. Just right for us to relax.

  • "Absolutely fantastic little cottage in a beautiful setting with everything you could need."

Host was fantastic and really friendly and helpful each time he saw us. We were so lucky with the weather so we spent a lot of time on the beach, but would come back in all weathers! Beautiful fields on the doorstep for our dog to explore. Kitchen well equipped with everything you need and all appliances really self explanatory. Small built in freezer compartment in the fridge is a great bonus when you're travelling with ice packs for your picnic bag! Access to a washing machine and tumble dryer in an outbuilding too. Thanks for a great and comfortable weekend, would love to come back again soon!

Thank you so much for your lovely review. It was a pleasure to meet you and your family. We look forward to seeing you again, James and family. Property Owner

  • "A lovely comfortable cottage, cosy beds and comfy sofas!"

Our host was very quick to respond to a message about central heating,no sooner had I sent it,he was knocking on the door to sort the issue, wasn’t really an issue, just us not wanting to tamper with boiler!! Wonderfully quiet place ,not too far from village, which is in walking distance but harder if mobility is a problem !
