  • "Lovely apartment, brilliantly situated a few mins walk to the beach."

    Very comfy, warm and clean. Great open plan living area, en suite a bonus. Co-op and take-aways just up the road. Owner so helpful. Thoroughly recommend.

  • "You couldn't wish for a better or more supportive owner than Mike who showed us around on arrival, and was extremely responsive and helpful via phone, messages, and even by calling in at very short notice when we were stuck trying to do something."

    Really comfortable and very well maintained apartment with two good sized bedrooms (one with sliding doors to private balcony) and bathrooms (both with toilets and showers), a comfortable lounge/diner with sliding doors to another private balcony with outdoor table and chairs, plus a modern kitchen area offering a washer/dryer (even though not mentioned in listing) plus a large integrated fridge with freezer below. Ample parking at the rear, and easy access to the apartment on the same level as the main entrance. Only a few minutes stroll to the local Co-op plus Indian takeaway and chippie both offering good quality food, and Southbourne beach about a 5 minutes walk away too; what's not to love! Book and stay here; you will love it too as much as we did, and with Mike there to support any needs that may arise then you know for sure that you are in safe and friendly hands and well supported at all times. Many thanks again Mike; we will most certainly be back as soon as we are able :-)

    Very well equipped. Very well situated, convenient for food shopping and coastal walks and beach. Good private allocated car park space. Met the owner, who provided good information of places of interest to visit.

  • "Excellant location for enjoying, exploring an making the most of the Dorset coastline in this area."

    A comfortable and relaxing apartment where we we were able to refresh and recharge ourselves on a great holiday. Facilities were really good and we made the most of them whether for dining in or our entertainment. We found the quietness good for our reading passion and concentration. This modern apartment is very lovely and the safe and convenient car parking enabled us to access local places of interest easily.

    A bit far from the high street but a Coop shop is only 3 minutes walk away. the place is recommendable for walkers like us.

  • "Brilliant place to stay in Southbourne."

    Quiet area with private off road parking at rear. Clean and well equipped apartment and cosy and restful. Situated just off the sea front but many places close by worth a visit.

  • "Good location away from the business of Bournemouth but still within close access to the beach."

    Coop is close and we used this every few days for essentials and as hoc ice cream visits. Rooms were a good size for our family of 4 (two adults two young kids). Crockery and cutlery were plenty. Kitchen is small but worked ok for us. Bathrooms are a good size, albeit in need of a refresh. Lounge was a decent size, needs a lamp, sofas were not comfortable. We had a ground floor flat and this was preferred so we are not navigating steps with a push chair. All good otherwise, in comparison pricey for what it is compared to much more nicer, bigger, better equipped accommodation found elsewhere directly with the owner via such sites.

  • "Excellent location for a beach holiday, a quiet place to stay but the apartment needs an update especially the bathrooms."

    They are very spacious but no hooks for towels and the rails are so old and rusty that it is unpleasant to put your towel on. There is no cabinet or even a single shelf for toiletries, one of the sinks doesnt have a strainer and towels are very worn so think about bringing your own (we just bought new ones). It would also be useful to have some hooks for jackets so that you don’t need to keep everything on the back of the chairs. And please, we don’t need overpowering artificial airfresheners. So just sort out the bathroooms accessories, simplify the soft furnishings and it will be a wonderful place to stay!

  • "No WIFI/Internet connection as listed on website."

    This was one of the main reasons that we chose this flat. Owner said it might be delivered by Saturday, if not, it would be Tuesday at the latest. Well, the end of our holiday was upon us and still no internet. Very poor and disappointing and disruptive for us. Not IMPRESSED AT ALL. We were advised when being shown around the flat by the owner that the immersion heater did not need to be used for hot water as the central heating was ON and this would heat the water. Not true, we all had ice cold showers the following morning. Therefore, from this point on, we ensured the immersion heater was switched on when we came back to the flat late afternoon and switched off the following morning. The only cooking ‘dishes’ were only frying pans and saucepans. Not a lot of good when you want to cook something in the oven or microwave. I had to contact the owner about this and he 'found' us a casserole dish with a lid from one of his other flats. I have enough dishes with lids at home and was not prepared to buy any additional ones! No oven gloves - for holding very hot pans etc when taking out of oven/microwave. Had to use the very thin tea towel. Unfortunately, unable to sleep at night with a window open as the double bedroom in the front only had patio doors - lovely for the daytime though.
