    “Wonderful character holiday cottage.”

Well equipped and spacious accommodation. Excellent location to reach a variety of attractions easily; Salisbury, Winchester, and the New forest all within easy reach. The property

Bursting with character and resting amidst a rural location, Downs View Dairy has been wonderfully restored from an old farm building and comes close to the quaint village of West Tytherley.

This spacious and charm-filled cottage provides a range of comfortable sleeping accommodation and comes in a location with something to suit all tastes; it is an ideal getaway for groups of friends, families and couples alike to come together and enjoy a rural retreat.

Be instantly greeted by a rustic farmhouse-style breakfast kitchen; a wooden table centers the room while a splendid redbrick fireplace houses a range cooker, plus the high vaulted ceilings and exposed beams help to bring a real country cottage feel.

Next to this sits a handy utility, helping this cottage to provide all that you will need during your stay, it also hosts a brightly tiled shower room.

Step up into the alluring sitting room, where you can relax after a long day of strolling the surrounding countryside and use the fabulous woodburner to keep you warm.

A traditional stable door adds to the charm.

Next you will find the wonderful dining room with a large table to seat everybody, this set up also offers comfortable seating, should you fancy some more peaceful relaxing time.

The ground floor concludes delightfully with a serene double bedroom, down a couple of steps, finished with rejuvenating décor and boasting its own en-suite.

Head up the wooden open tread staircase to reach the first floor, where you’ll discover four further bedrooms; a single, two twin rooms and a thoughtful family room sleeping four guests make this welcoming property ideal for parties of all kinds.

The upper level also boasts two classy bathrooms with freestanding baths; the first floor of Downs View Dairy displays the most wonderful countryside views.

Relish in this superb location by spending some time in the enclosed front garden, the dog can run and play on the lawn whilst you watch on from the patio with a delicious BBQ on the go.

Nearby, West Tytherley benefits from a convenience store and a traditional pub serving food and offering a skittles alley.

Close by you can visit the New Forest and the magnificent cities of Salisbury and Winchester, both with striking cathedrals and sporting a multitude of first-class spots to shop, eat and drink.

Head to the South Coast as the port city of Portsmouth is within driving distance and offers a number of attractions to keep you busy including it's dock yard and the famous Mary Rose, HMS Victory and The Warrior.

A heart-warming restored dairy to be enjoyed all-year-round.
