  • "We had a great time at Pebbles, so convenient just a short level walk to the beach and shops and good to have a dedicated parking space."

  • "Absolutely spotless."

    Great location. Well equipped.

  • "We did have difficulty with the induction hob but we phoned Marion Field and she helped us."

There were no instructions for the hob only the grill/oven. We felt that the settee could do with being updated

I was glad we could get the hob to work for you. I have now made some videos to demonstrate the use of both the hob and the oven. Our sofa appears to cause some issue with our guests. It was brand new in 2021, of an expensive brand and purchased particularly for the flat. However, the seat cushions are filled with feathers which, with hindsight, weren’t a good choice as they require frequent plumping to regain their shape. This is for our guests not very practical, of course. Property Owner

  • "We had a very comfortable time at Pebbles and the accommodation more than met our expectations."

The modern showroom was lovely. Although we were warned about steps into kitchen, we were surprised how steep they were.

  • "A stylish, quirky flat."

Very well decorated with a modern bathroom (lovely shower) and kitchen (induction hob and coffee machine) plus lots of extras. With on site parking and just a short stroll to the beach made this the perfect place for our holiday.

  • "The settee was uncomfortable."

The fridge has no freezer compartment

Thank you for your feedback. I was very pleased about your repeat booking for two weeks this summer after your first stay in April when you gave top marks for the flat. I am pleased to let you know that a new fridge with a freezer compartment was actually delivered on the day of your departure. Property Owner

Bed is large and comfortable. Would 100% recommend and can’t wait till our next visit

  • "We enjoyed our stay and the property ticked the boxes, lovely shower room."

Very convenient for the beach and shops etc.. A fridge with a small freezer compartment would have been nice. Couldn't get on with the swivel dining chairs. A handrail should be fitted to the staircase (6 steps) from the 1st floor landing to the apartment entrance door.

  • "We had a very enjoyable holiday, the flat is comfortable and in a perfect location."

A short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops, the Swanage Steam Railway and regular buses to Bournemouth and Poole. There are also plenty of walks for the more energetic.

About the location

SWANAGE

Wareham 9.7 miles; Poole 20 miles.

The small, family-friendly seaside resort of Swanage is situated at the eastern end of Dorset’s famous Jurassic Coast, on the celebrated Isle of Purbeck and is probably best known for its wonderful, gently shelving golden sands. The little town offers visitors plenty of shops, good pubs and restaurants, some of which specialise in locally caught seafood, and is also well known for its annual jazz festival, which takes place each July. The attractive, Victorian wooden pier offers a great place for a stroll or try fishing, and often used a departure point for divers, it’s a wonderful place to watch the world pass by. The historic Swanage Railway has its terminus in the town and regular nostalgic steam engine trips take tourists for a picturesque 6-mile journey, chugging through lovely countryside to stop just beyond the romantic ruin of Corfe Castle. Nearby Durlston Country Park offers a lovely day out with spectacular coastal walks, dolphin spotting and wildlife watching, together with comfortable viewing points and a well-stocked cafe for a treat after all the fresh air. Take the short drive to Studland, which has one of the finest beaches in the country, surrounded by heathland, together with the regular chain ferry, which crosses the mouth of Poole Harbour to Sandbanks. This truly is a delightful holiday destination at any time of the year.
