“Exceptionally warm welcome from the owners who live next door (no need to phone to arrange key collection) complete with a "tour" of the property and tea, coffee, milk, eggs and other "goodies" were provided.”

The cottage is immediately adjacent to the road so might disturb light sleepers in the morning. The village has a friendly small shop and post office (great bakery items and honey) and a pub with excellent food at reasonable prices within a couple of hundred yards. The railway station (a halt) is less than 20 minutes' walk away along a good footpath and ideal for a trip to Weymouth.
