With ground-floor living and an enclosed garden, 12 Danehurst New Road is a great base for a family trip to this lovely part of Hampshire, within easy reach of some stunning south coast beaches.

You are greeted to 12 Danehurst New Road by a secure private driveway before stepping into the property where you will find a king-size bedroom to your left and another to your right, both with large bay windows, making them a bright and airy space to unpack your personal belongings.

Moving through the property, there is also a super-king-size bedroom which can also be a twin, allowing for flexible sleeping arrangements among family and friends, and these three ground-floor bedrooms are complimented by a bathroom where guests can choose between a soak in the bath or a freshen up in the shower.

Take a short drive to New Milton to find a train station, a great choice of amenities and the unique Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum, or head in the other direction to Lymington which has a golf club, and a stunning marina with plenty of nearby eateries to indulge in and boat trips to enjoy.

12 Danehurst New Road is based in the New Forest National Park which is full of wildlife, children friendly activities, cultural heritage, the Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary and a regular tour bus.

Alternatively, head south to the beaches at Barton-on-sea or Milford on Sea, where you can relax or discover the shoreside Hurst Castle.

Hordle is village on the edge of New Forest National Park, which was once listed in the Domesday Book of 1086. The village has a fishing lake, a shop, a park and a chain pub which serves food. The nearby town of New Milton is home to the interesting Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum, as well as a train station, a skate park and plenty of shops, pub and eateries to suit all tastes. In the opposite direction, you can explore the market town of Lymington which has an outdoor public swimming pool, a boat tour agency offering rides, a pier with a ferry terminal offering connections to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight, a golf course, and a large amount of popular bars and eateries which views of the marina. With plenty of nearby scenic walks in New Forest and beach days on the south coast, Hordle is a great base.
