We were really happy that we did. What a gem! The place is spotless, well maintained & had everything we needed. Little things like deckchairs, washing up liquid, condiments, toilet roll etc were appreciated. Not forgetting the box of scones & milk in the fridge on arrival! The garden is private & catches the sun to sit out & soak in the peace & tranquility that the area provides. Loved it. Brian & Sylvia are such lovely hosts. Not intrusive but nearby if you need them. We really enjoyed their company, & Brian’s stories, when we did see them. We will definitely return & stay for longer. We highly recommend Goodrest to everyone.

Lots of welcoming gifts like toilet roll, laundry/cleaning items, milk and rock cakes. My only slight criticisms are the bed was too lumpy (for us, prefer firmer) and there was only one small frying pan. However this wouldn't stop us from recommending the property or visiting again. You have a lovely holiday home, thank you

We had a good break and would be very happy to come again. We visited several open gardens and Kingston Lacy- a large National trust estate with lots of walks near Wimborne Minster.

The bungalow was well prepared and comfortable. The property has intentionally be kept with a flavour of yesteryear. As such the kitchen is small and the bathroom needs updating, which Brian said was already planned. The bungalow is well situated for the local facilities with the village centre, supermarket and lovely pub all within easy walking distance. It is also well placed for visiting the coast and other attractions, although traffic is heavy with queuing at busy times. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend Goodrest.

We had a very warm welcome from the owners which was much appreciated after a 5 + hour drive. They showed us round this charming property highlighting where everything was and if we needed anything else just to let them know. There was everything we needed with all the comforts of home. Also on the table were homemade scones and a jar of honey to greet us. The bungalow is set in the lovely village of Verwood where the shops are only a short walk away. The peace and quite we found there was amazing and so Resting. But it is also close enough to enjoy Castles, Sea side, Historic Towns like Winchester, Historic Houses, The New Forest with its beautiful ponies and walks, Larger towns like Bournemouth, Southampton, Poole and many more including Portsmouth where we spent 3 days on the Historic Naval Base. We will defiantly be returning to Good Rest in the future as it has everything you need for a Great Holiday.
