  • "Lovely quaint old house, quite quirky and full of character."

Nice quiet location with amenities either a short drive or decent walk away. Hosts were great and left some very nice cake out on our arrival. Would definitely book again.

  • "Very good stay for our family, a little bit rundown in places, but we understand its just the start of the season and you may be getting things done/repaired as it goes on."

We really enjoyed the pool table, many games were had, only used the hottub a couple of times, well it was February!, we all said we would like to return but in the warmer months.

  • "The property suited our needs perfectly."

Great location for local pubs (The Natterjack Inn and Thatched Cottage were particularly good!), and it was a good central base to explore Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Wells and Bath. The only downside to the property was there were only two bathrooms between 7 people, but as long as you can organise yourselves, it's not a massive issue. The pool table was a great addition, the property was lovely and warm, and the kitchen was very well stocked with all the utensils you would need for self catering. I would happily stay here again.

  • "A lovely comfortable property but looks a little tired."

Francesca gave us a lovely welcome and catered for all our needs with a lot of thought given to pets. We couldn’t find a fire blanket or extinguisher though, but everything was there to cook a Christmas dinner. The steps leading to the front door need attention as our 83 year old guest had problems with them. Ideal property for a family with young children.

Francesca who looks after this property goes over and beyond to make your stay special and was extremely quick to reunite us with some items left behind :)

  • "A fantastic house in a very quiet spot."

The house is a lot larger than it looks from the front, due to it's L shape layout. Plenty of grounds for a family of 5 and enough entertainment through the streaming devices on the various TVs in most rooms, the Pool table, the Hot Tub and the board games. A good base to explore Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Weston Super Mare and the other attractions around this area. Finally a word for our excellent host Francesca who was always on hand if we needed any help or advice.

  • "Comments from different members of our group that stayed: Such a lovely light, warm and well appointed house."

My bed was so soft and comfortable. I would be happy to go back there. A special thank you for letting us leave later on Sunday. They had thought of everything, the house had such a nice feel to it. Comfy beds, comfy sofas, comfy sun loungers and awesome hot tub. Loved all the little extras they'd provided too. A beautiful home in a beautiful place, everything you need and so warm and welcoming. Really looking forward to visiting again and would recommend it to friends and family. We were made so welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Excellent communication from Francesca, who took the time to make sure we were happy and settled. A few goodies were left for us on arrival, including a beautiful cake! The hot tub was perfect, and immaculately maintained and tested daily. The location couldn't be better. We loved every minute of staying in this beautiful house, thank you x
