The property

This first floor apartment is situated in the heart of West Bay, a fishing village on the stunning Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site.

The area is famous as the setting for TV’s Broadchurch and the property is only a one-minute walk to the coastal path, beaches and local amenities, making it an excellent beachside holiday base for family and friends.

Comfortably furnished, this south-facing first floor apartment has a sitting room with a dining area and lovely beach views.

The main bedroom looks out towards East Beach, which lies beneath the iconic sandstone cliff.

There is a second bedroom and a well-equipped kitchen to the rear of the apartment, while the pretty harbour, with its fishing boats and colourful cabins selling all kinds of tasty treats, is just a gentle stroll away.

Explore the coastal path, or the more adventurous might like to take a speed boat ride around Lyme Bay, or try their hand at sea fishing or scuba diving, all available in the harbour.

The younger members of your group might enjoy a dip in the fun pool at the local holiday village, the adventure playground, or a boat trip on the River Brit.

For a change of scene, take the short drive up to Bridport, where the twice weekly market offers an interesting shopping experience, and where you can purchase everything from antiques to vegetables!

Further afield take the coastal road from West Bay to Abbotsbury, home of the Swannery and subtropical gardens, which will provide you with some of the most sensational coastal views in Dorset.

Alternatively, drive west to the seaside resort of Lyme Regis, a great place for fossil hunting.

This apartment really ticks all the boxes for a super seaside holiday home, where a lot of the entertainment is right on your doorstep!
