  • "No complaints."

A 3 bedroom mid terrace house. Very spacious living room, fair sized dining area. 2 double and 1 small bedroom. We only used 1 bedroom which was very comfortable. The house was nice and cool inside during the very hot spells. Kitchen was pretty well stocked and anyone could cook any meal without any problems. A good shower and plenty of hot water. We never used the TV so can't comment, wi fi good indoors . If anyone is on O2 there is no mobile connection, despite their map saying there is. 4g in West bexington is non existent. Gripes, no oven gloves, no grater, only 2 dishwasher tablets and no spare toilet roll. As a gardener I found the very basic garden care frustrating! Would we go back? Definitely consider it, very good base, friendly neighbours and a choice of 2 good places to eat. Lots to explore, especially if you are a walker. The beach is large shingle and mainly used by beach fishers, swimming only advised if you are competent and strong.

  • "The standard of cleanliness at Sea Views was very good and it was very well equipped."

Just perfect for a short holiday with a dog.

  • "A nice cottage in a picturesque area with views of the sea."

Comfortable seating and bedding, most things you should need in the ample sized kitchen/diner although the hob extractor is quite useless at extracting!! Replacing the missing door between the kitchen and lounge would be a good idea to stop cooking smells and toddlers going where they shouldn't. Garden was ok. The second parking space is only any good if you have a small car, something you're only told AFTER booking. A short walk to the beach. Overall a nice cottage, would we book again? probably. A word of warning, you're asked to clean the whole place before leaving to help the cleaners, strange!!! Not sure if this is a Sykes thing or the owners.

  • "A really lovely cottage close to a gorgeous beach."

Everything you need and great enclosed back garden if you have a dog. Our second visit - really love the location.

  • "Seaviews was a comfortable place to stay and made a good base for our holiday."

It had everything we needed and was surface clean but it could really do with a deep clean as there were cobwebs (not new ones) and dust all around the house. The drawers in the masterbedroom were full of hair and the duvet had clearly had something spilt on it at some point. The coffee and tea on arrival was very welcome and we were pleasently suprised by some nice sun loungers in the cupboard. As previous reviews had said more detailed info on the bins would be helpful as every council does not have the same system. This could be a really lovely cottage in a fab location, just needs a bit more tlc, otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

  • "The property is in a great location, situated so close to the beach that you can hear the waves from the garden and you can see the sea from every window."

It was very clean and tidy. There was a pub with good food just up the road and several others within a five minute drive.

  • "Lovely property in a relaxed setting with loads of space."

Some kitchen equipment is a little tired and some utensils not as clean as I would hope for. I would suggest a small selection of games and information on local attractions. M³ore information regarding your bins, it wasn't until after our departure that I was aware of recycling and food waste bins.

  • "The property was filthy, faeces in the toilet."

The whole place thick with dust, dirty floors. dirty sink. dirty bath. mould in washing machine making it unusable. spent my first day cleaning. bathroom sink taps needed fixing. bed very uncomfortable, mattress old and thin. dirty sheets in the twin room. pictures advertising the place are old, furniture and ornaments have been removed. No welcome pack. dog bowl was green. We were not allowed in till 5 pm, we assumed it was because they were cleaning thoroughly due to covid. NO CLEANING HAD BEEN DONE! just towels left. had to be out by 10am so you pretty much loose a whole days holiday. Then spend your first day cleaning. so 2 days lost. Beware The owners are conning you! NO Cleaning or Maintenance has been done. We stayed here 4 years ago and it was lovely, clean comfortable, lovely welcome basket for us and one for the dog. This time was such a disappointment. The area is nice, but for the money im sure you could find a cleaner place to stay

  • "We thought some sort of half door/gate through from kitchen to sitting room would be helpful to keep wet dogs from going through to the carpeted area."

The enclosed garden was a real bonus. We will definitely book this property again.

  • "Had a great stay, lovely location and clean, tidy and comfortable house."

The add does not do it justice! I would however suggest some updated garden furniture and an umbrella for the hotter days. Also as there are no shops close by just the basics like sugar tea and coffee would of been useful. I would recommend the club house for food just down the road lovely food and great views. Also the hive beach cafe was another nice place good food and lovely walks. I would happily stay here again.

We would definitely book this property again. The only thing that wasn't great was the cooker - the electric hob took AGES to heat up and wasn't really working.

  • "Cottage could be better looked after especially the garden."

Old picnic table could be replaced with newer more comfortable garden furniture, fence could be maintained and repaired so dog is secure in the garden, a parasol for the table would have allowed us to eat outside in the sunshine and enjoy the outside area and weeds could be removed. A coffee machine would be good addition to kitchen. Bed in main bedroom was comfortable, kitchen pretty well-equipped and the owner was very helpful and quickly at the property when we had small issue with a stuck cupboard door on day 1. Location is great, very close to the sea and lovely pub/restaurant with good walking possiblities all around the area and along the coastal path.
