  • "It was very difficult to contact you on the Friday of my check in or on the Saturday morning to report a fairly serious leak in the building."

I was contacted by customer services eventually but no follow up. I think the company was negligent as the leak became much more serious by Monday when contractors attended. Other points: The appliances were switched off at the wall so the fridge had defrosted and leaked and the boiler was not on. The boiler also switched off at the boiler which took a bit of working out to get hot water. Bathroom sink partially blocked, light over mirror not working. Nowhere to dry hair ie mirror near socket. Previous occupants clothes still in drawers. Key pad in very awkward position and would be impossible to see at night. need small saucepan pillows awful! Ironing board not really useable.

  • "Overall we were happy with our stay."

However there were a couple of issues, one being parking. It wasn’t made aware to us that there was parking available for F permit holders at the pavilion, when there was no on street parking. We ran into problems on the first few days we arrived trying to find parking which resulted in a fine. Also the shower ran out of hot water part way through the stay.

  • "Perfect location for a seaside break if you're planning to explore the coastline and chill in the nearby towns too."

Parking is good - permit and clear instructions provided. Could improve on the cleanliness / presentation - there were a few sponges lying next to the bed and behind the sofa; drawers in the bedroom were rather dusty/sandy to put clean clothing in. Property manager on weekend duty also didn't respond or return our phone call, after we contacted them to let them know all the rain was coming into the building through the skylight and there was no way / equipment to help use close it.

  • "Beachside View, Apartment 3 is a clean, comfortable and well equipped holiday home for two people."

Situated on the third floor it has magnificent views of Weymouth Bay and the beach through small but adequate windows. Stairs to the apartment are not too strenuous being in a well lit hall and benefiting from a half landing between each floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The lounge seating area is comfortable for cosy TV watching or reading a book. The bedroom is small but adequate with a very good quality bed and reasonable stowage. The full bathroom which included a shower over the bath was new and spotlessly clean. Weymouth is centrally located for exploring the Dorset coast. We enjoyed some lovely walks, visited a mix of fine restaurants, pubs and cafes. The town has a picture perfect beach and harbour and made you feel welcome , we would certainly visit again. Communication with Dream Cottages was excellent.

  • "Flat was nice but the promise of the parking was misleading resulting in a parking fine."

Would suggest you make it clear about daytime parking. We spent most nights aware that there was no fire escape if the stairway was on fire. This thought kept me awake. One of The stairway lights was not working all the week despite being reported by a guests. The telescope proved a great disappointment. No instructions. Would suggest another set of keys as was difficult to manage with only one set. Despite all these negatives the location was convenient and entertaining. We saw some amazing sunrises and moon risings. Kitchen equipment good except no bread knife. Bathroom and bedroom fine. Thank you

  • "Lovely apartment with great facilities."

Only concern was that there was only one exit down three flights of stairs and no fire escape route.
