  • "Again, it was an enjoyable experience staying there."

Excellent apartment with everything you could wish for and views to die for. . The only downside was some of other holiday makers not adhering to the policy and procedures of the building. The garage door was left open at night, also the front door was open when we came down in the morning. The only time we used the garage was to store the mobility scooter we hired . We was shocked to know the garage door had been left open let alone finding the front door open. It won't stop us from returning here,as the maintenance team did a great job of coming out to close the garage up. It's a good job its well equipped with security cameras. Can't wait yo rebook.

    2. More than 4 mugs would be useful 3. The car garage is handy, but is only really suitable for small cars, our Skodia Octavia Estate was a very tight fit. 4. There were no obvious facilities for recycling, plastics, tins glass etc. 5. The non stick frying pan was badly damaged and its teflon coating was pealing off. 6. Finally the location was excellent.

  • "The property was very clean and the furnishings and fittings were of a high quality."

The beds were comfortable, white good in good condition and the apartment was very spacious We particularly enjoyed the harbour view which is slightly obscured by the flats to the left in front but this did not spoil the view. (Fortunately they left their curtains closed most of the time or this could have been intrusive) The position of the flat was very convenient for the town, harbour and beach. The underground parking was an issue. I had contacted Sykes and been put through to “Dream Cottages” (who were managing the property) before we arrived. I had read other people’s reviews of a free parking space and a parking permit for The Nothe car park, but was firmly advised neither were available any more. On arrival we found a key for the underground car park and details about its use. This was frustrating as we had read it was a tight space and would have come in a smaller car had we expected to have access to the space. Other holiday makers complained about the difficulty getting their cars in and said without our unused space they would not have been able to get their cars in. Parking at The Nothe was £6 for 24 hours and could be paid via an app so was very easy When we had a minor problem “Dream Cottages” dealt with it very quickly and efficiently I would recommend this property

  • "Lovely property and great location."

It was not clear we had an underground parking space. We could have saved £60 if we had known. The furniture and fittings were very high quality. It would have been nice to have more mugs, plates etc so we could have filled and used the dishwasher rather than washing up by hand. Extras such as additional toilet rolls, salt, pepper and vinegar sachets would have been really nice to have as we didn't want to bring or buy full size items.

(Interior). Only view of harbour from main room. Balcony faces another balcony so not great on privacy. Both bedrooms look out on garages and car park. Adjacent on the other side was a building site though no work was done during our stay. Dish rack needs replacing and unpleasant smell from fridge. However it was very clean and comfortable so overall a pleasant experience. Regards. Joanne

Excellent apartment in the middle of the harbour with lovely views over the marina Spotlessly clean and fantastically furnished great location to explore the Jurassic coast with the best fish and chip shop (the Marlborough) within eyesight from the balcony Only downside is that the parking is not very well designed for getting in and out of unless you have a really small car but there is a good car park at The Nothe by the fort over the other side of the harbour (10 min walk) which is reasonably priced especially if you park after 6pm when it’s free till 8am and there are lovely gardens to wonder around too and my daughter loved feeding the squirrels who were taking food out of her hands Would definitely recommend this apartment

If I had to give one negative, and it is a very small one, would be nice to have a hairdryer in one of the bedrooms, and there was a shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom but not the en-suite so had to go out and buy some. Also would be good to have an extra toilet roll in the bathroom/en-suit, but perfect in every other way and looking forward to coming back.

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here: the flat was spotless and well-equipped."

The main thing lacking from our point of view was any way of recycling as the big bins at the bottom of the flats seemed only to be for general bagged up rubbish and there seemed no way of recycling paper, plastic, glass, tin etc which in today's world would seem to be fairly standard and also very desirable. Would be great to see that facility provided.

  • "Harbourside apartment 4 is an excellent base in central Weymouth."

The apartment itself is in excellent order throughout, tastefully decorated with all mod-cons and a fabulous view over the busy marina. The one downside, that may only affect quests with mobility problems, can be the parking. The free parking pass for the Nothe car park is a good 10/15 minutes away on foot. Other nearer parking is time restricted or costly. The apartment does have its own designated parking space beneath at ground level, but for some reason this is not advertised or highlighted by the letters? It can be a little tight as the other apartments also have spaces there. This should be made clearer in the brochure.

The decor, fixtures and fittings of the apartment is very modern and stylish and the cleanliness was impressive. Beds very comfortable and lovely showers. The location is spot on with the town centre and beach right on the doorstep. The balcony was great to sit out on which overlooks the beautiful harbour. We would definitely return to this apartment as we just couldn't fault anything.

We visited the theatre which again wasn’t a long walk. Parking wise we used the permit for Nothe car park which was a 10/15 min walk away but a nice walk along the harbour (the permit can also be used in other car parks listed too). When we arrived we did use the parking opposite which allows an hour so we used that to unpack / pack. Overall a very nice apartment and stay, would definitely return!

The layout is very good and is fitted out nicely as it is very new. The only issue is the underground car park.If your car is bigger than a Fiat 500 size you will struggle and are likely to scrape it on the way out.
