• "Lovely property, well equipped for the size."

  Did have a hunt round for a highchair but couldnt find one- i can't remember if i initially requested one. The back bedroom smelt a little fusty and not sure if it was mould/damp on wall but could easilybe sorted. Superb location and lovely welcome hamper. Would return.

• "Can’t be helped but very noisy when people above walking around, especially early morning if there are young children running around!"

• "Very nice Flat ."

  Everything provided for us . The views out the front windows were nice .The Fan in the lounge was handy , because we had a warm week . The welcome Hamper was a nice touch . Thankyou

• "First of all the property was dirty, bits all over the floor and I'd say it hasn't been mopped for a long time, as within hours of being there my feet were black."

  There is a smell of damp in the back bedroom which was covered up by a strong air freshener. All the beds were extremely uncomfortable, they are like laying on a slab. There was no Wi-Fi router in the property. Every cup glass plate and cutlery had to be washed before use as it was dirty. One of the hob rings didn't work and the cooker as a whole was rubbish and useless. We love Weymouth but this apartment put a dampner on our whole holiday. Needless to say we won't ever book this place again.

  Dear Paul, sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We, ourselves, stayed there the following week arriving on the day you left. Firstly, we do pay Dream Cottages for 3 hours cleaning between each booking, so there is no excuse for the property being dirty. Had you contacted Dream Cottages, they would have resolved this issue. We checked for the damp smell you reported but were unable to locate any. The beds all have memory foam mattresses, which a number of guests have reviewed as very comfortable, which we also do. Unfortunately, we discovered the WiFi box was missing from the property, and has now been replaced, however there is a back up system in place, which is detailed in the folder. You are correct that one ring on our Zanussi halogen cooker unit has gone, but everything else is working well. We plan to deal with this issue soon. • "The property was extremely dirty when we arrived and after a phone call to report this no one was available to come and rectify this and also the property is not as advertised ie the pictures online and the actual property there is no comparison it is run down and therefore miss -sold , there was no option to move either ."

  Comunication between client and dream cottages was absolutely shocking , i was offered £50 refund and i replied and said this was an insult but their response was take it or get nothing and i haven't even received this .our holiday was ruined from the start me having to throughly clean the whole flat as soon as we arrived . throught the week this got worce with lots of noise from the above property and them knocking our window asking to be let into their flat as they couln't get in . vans parked outside livingroom windows all day so couldn't see any view whatsoever .lady in basement flat complaing to me about how noisy previous clients was and wanted to know if i was from dream cottages because she had complained to them.Not once did dream cottages put me intouch with the owner of the property. If our 12 year old son hadn't been holidaying with us we definitely would have returned home on day 2 .we will never put our trust in dream cottages again and will never book further holidays with them.

However, we can assure you that we are charged by Dream Cottages for a complete clean between each booking, and are concerned that it appears that the cleanliness did not meet your expectations, which has clearly coloured your opinion and enjoyment of the property. Your review does not mention whether you approached Dream Cottages about the other issues raised, and what action they took on your behalf. This would have been of great interest to us. • "The property’s location is very convenient for the town centre and places to eat and drink, with the beach just across the road."

  Lovely walks along the sea front. The property itself was extremely comfortable with leather chairs in the lounge, lovely bed with a super mattress and all very clean. Only issue was in the bathroom where the extractor fan was very noisy when the light was switched on, but sure that can be rectified. A lovely relaxing and enjoyable short stay.

• "We enjoyed very much our week at the Aquamarine."

  There were two things. We could not make the kitchen extraction fan and light above the cooker to work. It was not a problem though as we did little cooking. The bathroom extractor fan was noisy. We had one ourselves for many years in our own home. I found that dust builds up and sticks to the fan blades which needed cleaning off regularly to keep it working quietly and efficiently.

• "We thought Aquamarine was fantastic, very clean, clean pillows, everything spotless."

  A very well equipped apartment, tastefully decorated. all needs met, even down to note pad and pen! Fantastic views of the bay, with the sun streaming in. The telescope was an asset to 'peek' at the cruise ships moored. We certainly would like to visit again. Little PS shower head needs a little help! Enjoyed our stay!
