  • "Overall very good."

    Staff were friendly and helpful and the lodges were clean and well presented. We used the indoor play area and swimming pool while we were there which again were very good. Hot tubs are log fired and can take an hour or so to heat up so try and plan in advance if using them. Would highly recommend but then at £300+ a night it's what you would expect.

The Townsend, a stylish single-storey lodge nestled in the peaceful countryside on Whitekirk Hill Holiday Park near North Berwick, East Lothian, offers a serene retreat with designated parking just outside and free Wi-Fi throughout.

Built using sustainable materials and finished with a clean, contemporary interior, this pet-friendly escape is designed for families or groups seeking space and simplicity.

Step into the open-plan living area, where natural light fills the room and the seating and dining spaces invite slow evenings and shared meals.

A flatscreen TV provides entertainment, while the kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering, with an oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, toaster, dishwasher, and electric kettle; ideal for everything from light breakfasts to hearty dinners.

The lodge hosts three bedrooms: two with king-size beds and one with twin singles, offering flexibility for different group types.

Two bathrooms support group stays, one with a walk-in shower, bath, basin, and WC, and another with a shower-over-bath, basin, and WC.
