  • "The cottage was lovely and very clean with everything you would need and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking."

The host was very hospitable and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed walking around the grounds of the castle and local area. I have already recommended my stay to family members and friends and would happily go back myself.

  • "Had a wonderful holiday in Garden Cottage in the most amazing surroundings."

There was a hiccup on arrival as we couldn't find the key and it was after the estate office hours. We phoned Sykes and they immediately phoned the owners of the cottage, who turned up 2 minutes later with the key. It was a great relief to know we were catered for, even on a Friday night after hours! The owners of the estate were very apologetic about the mishap and went out of their way to make us feel welcome during our stay. Thoroughly recommend.
