    Location excellent for the beach,shops and other places to visit.If you didn't want to do any driving it's also ideal with plenty of buses and train station near.I was initially worried about parking,but there's plenty along the road.

The property

Several sections of Frinton's beach are dog friendly and the gentle slope of the wide sandy beach provides safe bathing for children and adults alike.

Frinton has a good selection of coffee shops and restaurants if you don't fancy cooking and there are gift shops and boutiques to browse and supermarkets to keep you well supplied.

Frinton also boasts a coastal golf club and lawn tennis club which both welcome visitors.

From Frinton-on-Sea you are well-placed for accessing a number of sites, including Walton-on-the-Naze which is close by and a more typical seaside resort boasting arcades, Britain's second largest pier, a bowling alley and watersport activities.

The Naze itself is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) due to its fossil-rich cliffs and on the backwaters behind the Naze is Hamford Water National Nature Reserve, an internationally important wetland for birds.

This small seaside town is positioned in the Tendring District of Essex next to Walton-on-the-Naze. This delightful area boasts tree-lined avenues sweeping down to the elegant esplanade and picturesque shoreline, peppered with rows of colourful Victorian-style beach huts. There are several eateries and a few local shops in the area along with abundant walking and birdwatching. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants in the neighbouring town of Walton-on-the-Naze, along with a vibrant pier offering all day entertainment for a one-off price, including ten pin bowling and rides. You can take a boat trip to watch the seals resting on the mud banks or admire the fabulous scenery from the towering cliffs. Frinton-on-Sea is an unspoilt seaside resort. It has gone out of its way to remain as uncommercialised as possible and maintain its reputation as a quiet family resort. It has a very well-kept wide, sweeping greensward on the cliffs above the beach. Frinton Summer Theatre runs every summer and is England’s oldest repertory, showing seven shows in seven weeks. Frinton also holds a literary festival every October. Nearby Colchester is a historic market town with plenty in terms of outdoor adventure and attractions including Roman ruins and Medieval buildings as well as art galleries and Colchester Zoo. Constable Country rests on the outskirts of the town, an area of natural beauty inspiring all those who visit, with a whole wealth of heritage to discover, you won't be stuck for something to do in this fabulous area of south-east England.
