  • "We had such a fantastic holiday exploring Scotland and the cottage really made it perfect."

It was so well equipped with all and more than we needed. From the moment we walked in we relaxed and the setting was amazing- we couldnt stop looking at the views the entire week. The whole place was so clean. Great location to explore Skye but so much on the doorstep or a short drive too.

  • "A perfect location for an away-from-it-all holiday."

Comfortable and totally quiet with stunning views from every room - and a great base to explore the Highlands and Isle of Skye. Be prepared for a few miles of single track road to reach the cottage but it’s worth it.

  • "A lovely, lovely property with simply magnificent views."

It totally met our expectations. The owner came to check everything was OK which it was and was very welcoming. We had a great holiday but the weather was against us and the only respite from the rain was on day trips out. If we had to nitpick about anything it would be that the TV needs updating to a newer, larger model for the size of the room . It is not something that would bother us normally but with the weather being so wet we were more reliant on it during the evening.. A very small quibble, it was a great comfortable place to stay.

My friend and I stayed for a week and didn’t want to go home. Off the beaten track, literally, 7 miles of it, but it’s worth every bumpy mile.

The house was spotless and was not short of anything we needed, It was very warm and cosy, even on dismal November days, and had a huge garden which was brilliant for our 2 dogs who had a great time chasing each other around it. The huge well fenced garden was perfect for our 2 young dogs who had a wonderful time chasing each other round! There are plenty of walks to go on and wildlife to see. The owners couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and we will certainly be going back. Highly recommended.
