A short walk from the banks of the fabulous Caledonian Canal and Neptune’s Staircase, this lovely cottage is ideal for a family group or group of friends who want to get out there and explore one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland.
Approached by gentle steps leading up to the front door there are two well-presented bedrooms, one benefiting from an en-suite shower room.
The kitchen/dining room is very spacious and well equipped ensuring that meals can be prepared and enjoyed with ease.
A door from the kitchen leads to an open rear porch/boot storage area and then on to the very pretty rear garden where a gate gives access to a small track leading up to a private viewing point.
The sunny sitting room has simply stunning views over the rooftops of the village to the mountains beyond and on sunny days guests can take their morning coffee out onto the front terrace and soak up the vista whilst planning the day’s events.
There is so much to do and so much is close by.
For enthusiastic walkers then Ben Nevis can be conquered whilst cyclists can meander along the banks of the canal and enjoy the gentle pace of life beside the water.
By car, atmospheric Glencoe is a short drive away, or alternatively a trip across the Corran Ferry onto the Ardnamurchan Peninsula with its great sandy beaches makes a perfect day out.
Westward along the famous Road to the Isles you'll come to Glenfinnan on beautiful Loch Shiel and the the monument to bonnie Prince Charlie.
Leave the car behind and adventure on public transport, a bus stop is close by with regular services to Fort William and Corpach, the local train station lies on the Fort William to Mallaig line and travels over the Glenfinnan viaduct, as featured in the Harry Potter movies.
