  • "This was a perfect base for us to visit the area and jump over to Skye."

The house was immaculate, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Being able to bring our two dogs sealed the deal and similar to a prior review, it was comforting to know we could keep them contained by closing the gate. We got lucky with the weather and our packed week flew by far too quickly. Our hosts provided lots of ideas & walks, things to do and if not for them, we wouldn't have discovered the Coral Beach at Plockton. Got to walk & see all the things on my list, Macleod’s Maidens, Old Man of Storr, Quiraing, Kilt Rock, Fairy Glen, Fairy Pools, drove the crazy Bealach na Ba to Applecross, saw Highland Stags and Coos! The only negatives - the flipping midges and not seeing Otters or an Eagle. :) Thanks Beverly & Keith!

Owners allowed us access to small loch side beach. Picture window makes best of fantastic views. Attractive natural garden. A tranquil setting. In hamlet of Sallachy rather than Dornie. Would definitely return for another visit.

Great base location for exploring the local area with our favourites being Skye and the Applecross peninsula.
