Creag Hastin is a lovely house in the heart of beautiful Gairloch. My family (including a toddler and little dog) found the accommodation to be exactly what we needed as a base for exploring the region and it is located only a short walk away from the local beaches, golf course, harbour and The Old Inn restaurant while you are only a few minutes drive away from the shops. The house is very clean, well equipped and spacious while there is ample parking in the grounds. The gardens are large and ideal for dogs to roam, there are some parts that were overgrown but in general was in good condition, and as a bonus there was a patio area with seating/table to enjoy the view looking down to the harbour/sea/hillside... However, the rain made sure we were not going to enjoy this as much as we would have liked. Overall, I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a quaint relaxing accommodation in a peaceful part of the country while not being too far from the local amenities.
