The property

Uig 6 miles.

This charming crofter's cottage is located in the pretty crofting hamlet of Kilmuir on the north western edge of Skye, with exceptional views across The Minch, towards the Outer Hebrides.

This cottage is well-equipped, comfortable and is ideal for any group to embrace the splendour of Skye.

With enticing, panoramic views from each window on the first floor, guests will find two bedrooms and a bathroom.

The ground floor boasts a shower room, a pretty farmhouse-style kitchen with dining area and a relaxing sitting room with a woodburner ideal for cosy nights in.

A spacious garden lies to the front, a wonderful place to unwind and absorb the sights and the tranquil atmosphere after a hike along the coast.

Within easy walking distance is the Skye Museum of Island Life, with traditional thatched cottages and artefacts offering a taste of life for the crofters in bygone days.

The area is rich in wildlife and rare birds, including majestic golden eagles which regularly soar overhead.

This is a walker's delight, and as your cottage is ideally situated at the north end of the wild Trotternish Peninsula, close to the fabulous Quiraing, the sandy beach at Staffin and the Fairy Glen, there are plenty of options for exploring on foot.

There's so much to do and see on the enchanted Isle of Skye, so book this charming cottage, a wonderful base to return to at the end of each busy day.
