There is off-road parking available for an easy arrival, where a splendid row of lovely apartment buildings rest just opposite the River Garry and woodland.

Step into the apartment where the smart, inviting living area welcomes you; enjoy an evening in the sitting room, complete with two leather sofas, TV with Freesat and a coffee table to hold a bowl of popcorn, whilst you settle down for a family movie night.

Set the dining table for four, rustle up a big breakfast and kick-start the day's adventures in the well-equipped kitchen, hosting an electric oven and hob, microwave and plenty of storage space to stock up on your favourite foods.

There is even a handy washer/dryer to quickly wash muddy clothes ready for the next day's hike.

As your eyes grow heavy, Deerchase offers two bedrooms, a double and a twin, where guests can unpack their belongings, settle down with a book and get ready for the day with ease.

In the mornings you can hang your towel on the heated towel rail in the bathroom, whilst you rinse off the day or relish a longer soak in the tub, before wrapping yourself in a toasty towel.

Why not take your morning coffee outside to the front garden, where a patio, lawn area and outdoor seating makes for a charming spot to enjoy the rural surroundings?

Treat the family to a delicious hot meal at the local pub that sits just down the road from Deerchase or find the essentials at Glengarry Filling Station to pack a picnic before heading off to explore the fantastic sights of the Scottish Highlands.

Invergarry is a wonderful base to begin your adventure, with the gothic ruins of Invergarry Castle and the Great Glen Way, allowing walkers a scenic route from Fort William to Inverness without stepping foot on roads.

Head north to Fort Augustus, a historic hamlet on the southern tip of Loch Ness, with cruises on offer for breath-taking views and plenty for walkers and cyclists, or soak up the history at Caledonian Canal Heritage Centre, before watching the boats go by at Loch Ness Viewpoint.

Fort William lies south of Deerchase, a bustling town surrounded by dramatic hills and natural wonders, from sandy beaches to iconic film locations, castles and distilleries; climb Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, ride the Jacobites Steam Train passing through incredible landscapes, or discover treasure and shipwrecks at the West Highland Museum.

Deerchase is also an ideal location to visit the most photographed castle in Scotland, Eilean Donan Castle, which sits picture-perfect to the north west with a gift shop and café for guests to fuel up before taking in the beautiful surroundings.
