    “I waited 12 months to actually be able to go to this amazing property.”

    It is spotless, warm, cosy, gorgeous, the homely touches that Sue and Family have put into this property make it so welcoming. We had a 10 hour drive and Sue had thought of everything with a welcome pack like no other including fresh hen and duck eggs. The views from the garden are incredible and the numerous bird feeders enable you to embrace the beauty around you and immerse yourself and as this was just when the Corona virus hit the news to change everyone's lives it was a great escape. Saying that because of announcements we curtailed our holiday and thought it best to head home. We will be back to this beautiful spot at some point when we are able to get back to normality, until then I really can not express enough how superb this place is and the welcome you receive.

About the location

ROY BRIDGE

Fort William 11.5 miles; Inverness 58 miles;

Roy Bridge which in Gaelic is Drochaid Ruaidh meaning "the bridge over the Roy" is a small friendly highland village situated some 3 miles east of the bigger village of Spean Bridge in the Scottish Highlands. There is a craft shop, cafe and two hotels where good service, good food and good cask ales are assured. The larger village of Spean Bridge has a well stocked village shop, woollen mill and several cafes and restaurants. Close by is the famous Commando Memorial which stands some 17ft high, and comprises a group of three bronze Commandos dressed in typical World War Two uniforms. This is a haunting and popular stop off for visitors and was built to commemorate their training ground in this area. The vibrant town of Fort William is a short drive away and from here guests can venture a little further south and visit the Glencoe Museum and learn more about the infamous massacre.
