Further afield in Gairloch and Ullapool are sports facilities, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and numerous opportunities for outdoor activities, such as hill walking, kayaking, horse riding, golf and boat trips and many more.
A must is the beautiful sandy beach at Gruinard and Laide has a 200 acre wood on the doorstep where you can try to spot some of the amazing wildlife and flora the Highlands has to offer.
