We stayed for 2 nights on this lovely house B&B and it was perfect. The common areas are spotless, so well decorated and with high standard. All self service, which we liked as it gives you a feeling of freedom in regards to times for breakfast, etc. The bedroom was beautiful, so spacious and with very nice views. The bathroom is shared, however it was not an inconvenient for us as we only shared with another bedroom guests and it was free at all times. Good choice of products provided to prepare your own breakfast too. A great surprise that we did not expect was to have a jacuzzi outside, which we could not resist to use while looking at the great views from the outside. Great location to visit the island and the owner recommended us some places to eat that we tried and they were really good. 10 out of 10!

About the location
Portree 22 miles.
The village of Dunvegan is set in the north west of Skye and contains a mixture of traditional stone and modern houses, along with a selection of shops and hotels. About a mile from the village is Dunvegan Castle, home to the Clan MacLeod, who have continuously occupied the castle since the 13th century. Only four miles away is the famous Three Chimneys Restaurant, a must for all foodies, and just a 10 minute walk away is the very popular Old School Restaurant, also worth a visit. Also in the area are the Cullin Mountains with their fantastic rock forms and pinnacles, which many climbers would put at the top of their list. Other attractions on the Isle are plentiful - visit the Talisker Distillery or Portree, the island’s only town, set around its natural harbour, which boasts an excellent range of shops, hotels and restaurants, and also offers Sea Eagle trips from the pier, which are extremely popular.
