  • "Lovely big family house which easily accommodated ourselves , our two sons and their children and the dog!"

We were nine in total. Easy parking for all our cars. We enjoyed the space in the kitchen dining room with those lovely views over to Eigg. As a large group we struggled with fridge space but as it was winter we were able to chill the wine and beer outside! The bedrooms were great with lovely linen and towels, very much appreciated. We didn’t use the upstairs sitting room on the whole as our children are small but with teenagers it would be ideal for a getaway space. As it was the winter season, eateries were either closed or part opened . Websites not giving accurate information. However we loved the local fish and chips and Mallaig is ten minutes away with a variety of cafes and pubs if you need it. We spent our time on the fabulous beaches. Overall , a great week and a lovely place to stay.

  • "If there is a large group of you, which the house is advertised for , take some camping chairs for outside ."

There were only 2 garden chairs when we got there and we had asked beforehand. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

The house had everything we needed and our dogs had fun too. Sunsets were amazing and we saw seals, whales, porpoises and deer.

Tullochgorm was ideal for our family group with ample, well furnished space to accommodate three generations and very well equipped. We found plenty to keep us occupied in the area and the scenery was stunning.

  • "Lovely house, really well kitted out, good information within the home and excellent communication prior to commencing holiday."

We expected some damp weather holidaying in Scotland so we also expected to spend sometime at home during the day - the house is so lovely it is a pleasure to spend time here and it really added to the holiday experience. All in all one of my favourite holidays.

  • "Wonderful, spacious, clean and newly decorated/furnished house."

We had 2 families staying (8 people in all) but could have had more. There was plenty of space for us all to eat and live, and we found everything that we needed. The upstairs lounge was brilliant for the children, complete with DVDs for any quieter moments and for family movie nights. The beds, bedding and furnishings were luxurious and all carefully and thoughtfully provided. Bathrooms were of a very high spec. All the instructions were clear. The description accurate and photographs were accurate too. The area was brilliant, we loved it and explored the train, the beaches, the islands and the hills! The owners were easily contacted with any queries. We very highly recommend this property for a wonderful holiday.
