  • "This was our first time using Sykes cottages to book accommodation and every went smoothly."

The cottage itself was lovely ,in a great location with a wonderful view out to sea. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had every thing you would need for a holiday break. There was lots of information on the local area in the house and communications from the owner were very friendly and helpful. AS an added bonus we had the use of the garage and we used that to store our bikes. The owner (Graham) was very helpful when we left behind a couple of cycle helmets as he arranged to return them to us. We would hope to be able to book this property again in the future as we loved the time we had in the cottage in spite of the wet weather.Thank you.

  • "We had a lovely stay in this cottage."

The views to Rhum & Eigg from the cottage were wonderful. The owners had provided lots of helpful information. We would definitely visit again if in that area. PS one of the patio wooden chairs was broken on our arrival & would require to be replaced

  • "Everything was utterly perfect for our holiday in Morar."

The house was lovely with spectacular views, really comfortable and toasty warm. Was heaven to come back to it after a long day out exploring this beautiful region. Hopefully we'll return to it ourselves one day and I'll certainly recommend it to friends and family.

  • "Beautiful cottage, very well presented and stunning location."

The view from the living room is a huge selling point and we enjoyed the steam train going past. The rooms in the cottage are really generous sizes, neat and clean. Owner's information was very helpful. Would happily book again.

  • "The bungalow is very nice , with great views (when available !"

) ....unfortunately , our stay co-incided with "STORM ?????? " and there really isn't a great deal to do in this area if the weather is as bad . ps we are LAKE DISTRICT veterans , so used to iffy conditions . None of that was the bungalows fault , however , and we really couldn't fault that .

  • "Lovely cosy cottage with great views which was a perfect base for exploring the area."

Very close to great coastal walks, the local beaches and Loch Morar. The cottage was spotlessly clean throughout, bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was very well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Would definitely return again in the future.
