Mill Park has off-road parking for two cars on a gravelled driveway, making for a quick and easy arrival; take the side entrance into the welcoming hallway, kick off your shoes, and get settled into the open-plan living space.

The kitchen has plenty of space to unpack your shopping, including an American-style fridge/freezer, and is well-equipped for cooking your favourite meals in a lovely, contemporary setting with a breakfast bar seating four guests.

A spacious utility room can be found next door, which can be accessed via the back door with a wooden bench for taking off muddy boots, and a washing machine and tumble dryer to chuck in dirty clothes after a long walk.

A long day exploring calls for a peaceful evening in the sitting room, where you can close off the space with the curtains to make it even more snug, start the woodburning stove and enjoy a film on the Smart TV, or settle into the sofa with a good book.

With two ground-floor bedrooms, Mill Park offers guests pleasant rooms to unwind in, with minimal décor and built-in storage space in a king-size and a twin.

A smart, contemporary shower room is just across the hall, with a delightful walk-in shower to rinse off the day whilst your towel warms up on the heated towel rail.

Mill Park has two outdoor spaces; a rear patio and a front garden with a lawn area, perfect for a picnic in the sunshine before heading into Portree, only a few minutes walk away.

Set on a natural harbour, the beautiful town offers plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops for a splendid self-catering stay, as well as a variety of activities to suit all guests, from evening performances and culture at the Aros Centre, or head to the coast for sea kayaking.

With plenty of walking routes, the town is within reach of fantastic Isle of Skye attractions, such as Trotternish Ridge for dramatic rock formations and the crystal clear waters of the Fairy Pools for tranquil swimming.

Sligachan is to the south of Mill Park and an ideal location for those seeking the great outdoors at the Sligachan Waterfalls and Red Cullen viewpoint, whilst the small settlement offers a bar & grill to fuel your day.

Head north for Staffin to try delicious seafood at the Skye Seafood Market, discover ancient fossils at the Staffin Ecomuseum and walk the spectacular path to Staffin Harbour & An Corran Beach.

Dunvegan is a popular location to the west of Isle of Skye, surrounded by incredible coast and woodlands, where Dunvegan Castle & Gardens is a must-see, as well as the Giant Angus Macaskill Museum to learn about the tallest Scotsman ever to have lived, and the tallest recorded true giant.

Set round its natural harbour on the stunning and tranquil Isle of Skye, charming Portree boasts an excellent range of shops, hotels and restaurants. Cultural attractions are plentiful; the Aros Centre is well worth a visit with its programme of concerts, theatre and cinema. Sports enthusiasts are also well catered for, with sea kayaking, rock-climbing and a good choice of well-marked walks. The rock formations are particularly spectacular; Trotternish Ridge stretches for 31km of continuous cliffs, with many fantastic rock forms and pinnacles.
