  • "The property is as described and is set in an ideal location."

The amenities within are good though the tea and coffee that is left is more like a low-end travel lodge than a holiday cottage. In addition, the property would benefit from a welcome pack, or a handy hints sheet, for example how to turn the hot water on or log on to the Wi-Fi. The local shop is a short drive away and has all you could ask for, though at a price! Whilst it was good, the owners never made themselves known in any way and we felt that it seriously lacked the personal touch.

  • "Great compact property but a wee bit disappointed with lack of basics I."

    E. coffee, sugar, tea etc. Also no bin bags other than one in bin. Just feel that for the price they could have provided a few basic items. However would definitely go back there as it was very clean and fresh and excellent location and outlook.

  • "The property was fab once we found it."

We struggled to find the pod and needed to rely on your customer support person Clare. Who was absolutely brilliant and deserves a gold star. It was all a bit tricky as there was limited phone reception and we ended up driving up and down the road in order to find some. With Clare's help, she having phoned the owner we found where we were going. When we finally found the property it already had occupants. This necessitated another drive to find reception and we were eventually put into the next property...which was perfect for our needs. Once settled the owner, who was lovely, appeared to make sure we were ok. Just a glitch at the beginning. Directions need to be clearer, that's all. Re publishing feedback...you could say... 'Katie was fab...what a remarkable place nestled in the crater of a volcano. A perfect spot for an escape from the hustle and bustle'

The pretty village of Kilchoan is the most westerly village in mainland Britain, situated on the stunning Ardnamurchan Peninsula and surrounded by magnificent mountains and breathtaking coastal views. The area close to Kilchoan offers a choice of quiet sandy beaches and an abundance of wildlife with eagles regularly spotted overhead. Until 1900 the village was only accessible by sea, but now access is via a single track road that leads through some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland. The village has good local services including a shop, pub, restaurant and community centre.
