Roselea is a contemporary, detached cottage based in Breakish, Scotland, situated a couple of miles away from the village of Broadford, on the magical Isle of Skye.

This stylish cottage offers a superb base for exploring this wonderfully rural area of Scotland, with fabulous views across the Broadford Bay and coast.

The property has been completely renovated to provide a modern and furnished holiday home to a high standard, and has been immaculately maintained.

Internally, the property boasts a reverse-level accommodation, with three well-presented bedrooms on the ground floor, consisting of two king-size and one family room with a bunk bed and single, served by a stylish en-suite shower room and family bathroom.

Each bedroom has a range of high-quality furnishings to store your personal items, with fabulous views across the countryside.

Follow the steps up to the first floor sitting room, which has three large sofas to relax and unwind on of an evening, with the lovely woodburning stove to keep you warm.

Enjoy the provided snooker table, where you and your little ones can challenge each other in a friendly game.

The open-plan kitchen and dining area has seating for eight and makes for a wonderful social space to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal, prepared in the well-equipped kitchen.

The ground floor offers a spacious snug area, with a large sofa and TV with Sky, use this as a quiet space to catch up on your favourite shows, or to read a good book, with the French doors leading out to the garden.

Outside has a large lawned garden and decking area, with furniture to sit out and enjoy a refreshing beverage in this picturesque setting, with a barbecue, ideal for family gatherings.

The bustling village of Broadford offers a fine selection of shops and restaurants, as well as the award-winning Skye Serpentarium where you can not only handle snakes and various reptiles, but also enjoy some nice home baking!

This Skye cottage is very well-situated for touring not only Skye but also the west coast mainland.

Skye has much to offer; take a day trip north to the capital town of Portree with its pretty harbour, excellent selection of shops and a range of cafes and restaurants.

Portree 29 miles.

Skye's second largest village, Broadford lies in the shadow of the Red Cuillins and spreads itself along the southern side of Broadford Bay. Views extend out to the Isle of Pabay and more distantly to the Applecross mountains on the mainland. The village caters well for the tourists with shops, hotels and colourful craft stalls. Close by is the little village of Elgol, which enjoys 'the finest view in Britain' - the end of the Cuillin Ridge seen across Loch Scavaig. From Elgol pier take an unforgettable boat trip to Loch Coruisk in the heart of Cullin Mountain Range. The nearby Sleat Peninsula known as the 'Garden of Skye' has many attractions and a ferry link to the mainland - Armadale to Mallaig.
