    The bungalow was clean and in great condition with well maintained facilities. Even being animal friendly there where no sings or smells that animals are welcomed. Being dog friendly was essential, and its positioned in a perfect area to keep the dogs exercised and happy.

  • "The cottage is stunning."

    It's spacious but feels cosy at the same time, especially when the curtains in the living room are drawn in the evening. The views are amazing and lots of wildlife to see and hear nearby. I stayed up late one night to watch the Perseids meteor shower and the dark sky was just right to see lots of them. We loved our stay at Greenacres, the location was perfect, and close to a lot of different places to visit. It was the perfect little holiday for us and our dog. Would definitely recommend!

    The location was very peaceful, our dog and children enjoyed the enclosed garden and watching the sheep wander by. Lovely welcome basket was an added bonus and the host was very responsive. We hope to return in the future.

    Great location and wonderful views, wildlife was great, plenty of sheep, hedgehogs, wild birds and birds of prey. Gardens were secure for our two dogs which they did enjoy. Had 2 great weeks and the weather was just perfect. Many thanks to Rachel.

  • "Lovely bungalow."

    Spotlessly clean and with all we needed for a very enjoyable weeks holiday. In a very rural setting but with lots of walks directly from the doorstep. The rear conservatory was a real gem. Nice to sit and relax after a busy day. Gardens well kept and it was safe to let the dogs enjoy them.

    The perfect spot for some much needed r and r. The bungalow was well equipped with everything in good order. The scenery and the wildlife was amazing- from newborn lambs to pheasants and woodpeckers. The weather was spectacular for late April and we would definitely come back!   • "This cottage is perfect!"

    It was everything a guest would need provided by Rachel, the property owner. The location is conveniently situated about halfway between Ludlow and Kidderminster, with lots of things for tourists. The idyllic setting in the Common is quiet and peaceful. The landscaping at the house is lovely and the surrounding countryside views are beautiful. It is obvious that Rachel has put lots of love into making our visit wonderful.

    Loved the decor,the garden,the extra goodies,the log burner and the situation,right on the common.Perhaps a mirror in the smaller bedroom would be good.Also more clarification of the bins and bin collections.the bin man came on Wed but it was too late for us to put the relevant bin out.these are not criticisms.we loved it

  • "This lovely bungalow has been newly refurbished and equipped to a high standard."

The pretty little town of Cleobury Mortimer is situated in the rural heart of South Shropshire. The town offers a refreshing selection of individual shops, a local brewery, pubs and restaurants, including The Lamp, Gauthama, and The Stable Tavern, but is most famous for its unique church, which has a peculiar, crooked steeple. Continue onto Ludlow, where you will find the magnificent Ludlow Castle, Linney Riverside Park, the charming Ludlow Market held weekly, closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and five Michelin Star restaurants, Forelles, Mortimers. French Pantry, Charlton Arms and Old Downton Lodge, perfect for foodies! Further afield, you’ll find Bridgnorth, an idyllic town split into High Town and Low Town, home to the Severn Valley Railway, Bridgnorth Castle and Gardens, Bridgnorth Cliff Railway, and a variety of cocktail bars, pubs and restaurants. Tenbury Wells and the famous World Heritage Site of Ironbridge are also within easy reach. There is excellent walking locally in the Clee Hills and the Wyre Forest, and horse riding, golf and fishing are available close by. Just a stones throw from Cleobury Mortimer is Clows Top, a charming village with a small shop and post office, and an excellent butchers. A mile further down the road is Colliers Farm Shop and Café and there are numerous pubs and cafes in the villages and hamlets that surround Clows Top.
