  • "A lovely situated property in reach of many attractions and only a short walk to the beach on site that gave on to beautiful views across the Solent."

Comfortable seating and bed. Plenty of space for clothes storage. Two toilets! Absence of washing up cloth and cleaning cloths although plenty of other cleaning materials. All appliances lovely and clean apart from toaster crumb tray and tops of wardrobes been missed. Lovely welcome tray and fresh flowers were much appreciated. Thank you for providing a lovely weeks retreat!

  • "A real disappointment from Sykes."

The caravan was really dirty and poorly maintained. The mattresses were spongy and uncomfortable. The shower was mouldy, the cutlery was dirty as was the crockery. The washing up bowl and drainer had limescale marks and had quite frankly seen better days. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned very well at all. A lot needed replacing/ refreshing in this accommodation. It was probably once nice but had been left to ruin. I don’t mind basic, but I do expect clean. I’ve never arrived at holiday accommodation before and had to wash all the cutlery and crockery and clean the bathroom. If I hadn’t been staying there for a specific event I’d planned I would have probably taken one look and gone home. Really poor, would not recommend at all.

  • "We could not fault the caravan, it was well equipped and spacious."

We were not so impressed by the site, the pool always seemed to be closed, (although the weather was not ideal for outside swimming). The caravan portion of the site was situated inland from the chalet area which had the sea views. On returning from a coastal walk we followed the footpath signs and found ourselves on a grassy area in front of some of the chalets, we were told in no uncertain terms that this was a private area and we should not be there, (it would seem that the caravan residents are second class citizens on this site).

The lovely welcome pack for us and doggies was much appreciated. The owners are very welcoming with texts. And answered our query v quickly. Plenty of room in caravan... lovely seating area outside. The parks restaurant/bar highly recommended. Thank you we shall return.

  • "Had a lovely stay."

The property could have been a tad cleaner but we understand the challenges of that with a dog friendly unit. Had everything we needed though for a pleasant short break. Beds were soooo comfortable. Communication with owners was great and we were welcomed with dog and human friendly treats on arrival.

  • "A very pleasant stay."

The caravan was welcoming, roomy, nicely decorated, and clean, with very well stocked kitchen cupboards. The flowers, large carton of milk and box of chocolates were a very nice touch. The only down side for us was that it was rather too hot when the heating was on, and we had to open windows to cool some rooms down. Apart from this, everything was very nice.

Plenty of dog bins on sites and plenty of walks. There is a pub on site I only went there once but the staff were lovely and catered for my needs as I am a coeliac so it was nice to see they did gluten free foods all in all a very good holiday. The owner is very welcoming left me tea coffee sugar and got me milk as well lovely people and very helpful. I will definitely come back again. Thank you so much for letting me stay in your caravan.
