  • "The place was great - well positioned, clean, kitchen had lots of utensils and was functional."

The rooms and their sunny disposition and having many bathrooms was well appreciated. My only complaint - the supplies were really low - only one small hotel-sized shampoo + conditioner in each bathroom for a multi-night, 8-people stay, and 1/4 kitchen towel roll is simply inadequate. When the competition AirBNB hosts go out of their way to personalize stays, a little personal touch and making sure guests have an easy time will go a long way!

  • "Property was situated in an attractive position but it did not feel ‘loved,’ There was no welcome pack usually found in this grading of property only a meagre welcome card."

No soap or shampoo in the bathrooms. We had to supply our own. At night the lights did not work properly this was unexpected and caused discomfort especially for my husband who only has one eye. There were plenty of dishes and plates but the mugs were dirty and stained we had to put them in the dishwasher before we could use them. There was evidence of cheese on the cheese grater. The plugs in the sinks did not work and one of the beds in the twin room was broken . We looked for the usual apartment guidance but it was only on the last night that we found it tucked right at the back of a very deep drawer in the kitchen . The photo will show that this was not evident when opening the drawer. It would have been helpful if it had been placed in a more prominent position, The property is being advertised as a 5 star property iir fails to meet the standard usually found in 5 star rated properties. A positive point Andy the maintanance man was delightful and came speedily to our aid to repair the lights. It was unfortunate that we had to deal with all these issues on our very short Easter break. Given the faults and failures we think this property is overpriced . Marion Wallace

Any feedback upon any subject in relation to properties that I rent are always taken seriously and I am grateful for the comments appertaining thereto. I would point out concerning the averment that there was no welcome pack this was personally delivered at 4pm on the day that the tenancy commenced. The tenants arrived early prior to contract check in time . They are welcome. However it is not legitimate either to complain or to raise issues about preparation in these circumstances. The manager personally checked in the tenants on time and delivered the pack and toiletries about which the complaint is made. The issues raised by the tenant and in particular minor cleaning matters were addressed forthwith. It is accepted that there was a light issue affecting ceiling lights on the top floors. The side lights, sockets and televisions were all working. The light problem was addressed by flicking a switch on the fuse board. This was unfortunate and unexpected. Throughout the time of its letting at 5 star there has never been a single complaint. Naturally we are sorry that the property was not enjoyed as intended. Property Owner
