"The property is in a lovely location."
It is well appointed and very clean. Easy for getting around Shropshire where there is a lot to see and explore. We really enjoyed our weeks stay. The sofas however could do with changing as they feel uncomfortable due to lack of substance in the cushions.

"We loved Lower Plowsters, it's a fantastic property, large, comfortable & welcoming; we would happily recommend it to all."
We both live many miles apart & meet up for an early Christmas every year, we had a fabulous time. Because our visit was in mid December we didn't get to enjoy the garden but we did love watching the rabbits, pheasants & robins that visited our very peaceful holiday home.
We didn't enjoy the small duvets. I can see how they could be sensible in these strange COVID dominated times but they're not conducive to a great nights sleep. They didn't spoil our holiday in any way but... We had no issues with the couches, they may not be to everyone's taste but they're clean & in really good condition. We made ourselves very comfortable with a film or two most nights.
Thanks again
Andy

"The house is lovely and a great place for a relaxing stay."
It would help to have a directional sign with the cottage’s name on the main road in addition to the direction to the orchard for those who don’t read the instructions very closely, particularly when arriving after dark! The only slight thing is on one day the hot water ran out before everyone had showered - possibly an electric shower in at least one room might be a better idea. Also I was a bit surprised there was no welcome basket - it would have lifted the initial arrival experience, especially as there are no shops in the vicinity. We were provisioned ourselves but it would have been a nice touch.

"We had a very enjoyable week at the cottage, we were slightly apprehensive about it’s situation on a large fruit farm but as previous reviewers have said there was no noise."
One thing about the cottage did surprise us was that although the beds were made up as doubles, as requested, the duvets were only singles so each bed had two duvets. The couches have received criticism and I can only concur that they were uncomfortable..The kitchen is well equipped but if you are planning on doing any amount of cooking I would suggest bringing your own knives and sharpener.
These criticisms apart the cottage was clean, warm and well appointed. It is in an excellent location to visit many attractions and enjoy beautiful scenery.Ludlow and it’s environs is a lovely part of the country and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

"Overall we found the property to be excellent and would strongly recommend it."
The location is good and the property offered everything we required.
However we agree with previous reviews that the two settees are not very comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable.
We had a problem with the shower drainage but, after contacting the owner, this was resolved very quickly.

"The house was in a lovely, peaceful location on the outskirts of the village."
We are a family of 5 with 3 children and the house was perfect for us as there was so much space inside as well as a lovely garden. The house had everything we needed, the kitchen was brilliant, spacious bedrooms and everything was spotlessly clean (although I did have to remove a lot of cobwebs on the first day!). There were a couple of small issues with the shower which the owner sorted for us really quickly. I would agree with a previous review that the sofas were not very comfortable but this didn’t spoil our stay in this lovely house at all! Would highly recommend and we would love to return again.

"Lovely spacious property in an idyllic village and peaceful location."
This worked perfectly for 3 generations staying under one roof. Very nicely presented and nice walks nearby. It was a very warm property and nice to open balcony doors and veluxes for ventilation. The laundry room was perfectly kitted out and housed the boiler so brilliant for drying things. It had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. The park and ride to Ludlow is very convenient and Ludlow itself is very nice with a quaint market and castle.

"The place was lovely and ideal for a family holiday."
We had a baby a toddler and 6 adults it was good for all of us.
Kitchen is huge and very well equipped. Beds were fine and bathrooms too.
The only drawback was the settees which were very uncomfortable in a nice lounge on the upper level.
The listing states that there are 3 bathrooms where in fact there was 2 and a downstairs toilet.
On the whole we would recommend the Lower Plowster it is in a lovely village and Ludlow is close by which is a lovely old town with a great market.

"When I booked the property it was intended to accommodate 2 couples and a single lady and was advertised as having 3 bathrooms."
As it turned out due to illness my wife and I were the only two occupants. However as it turned out the property wasn't suitable for our intended use as it had two bathrooms. This would have led to considerable problems. On checking the property description whilst on holiday it now shows that there are only2 bathrooms.
Having said this we had a pleasant time, thank you.

"We spent Christmas here as a family with our young grandson, we had a few questions regarding some items for the baby, they were dealt with efficiently and to our satisfaction."
The cottage was exceedingly warm and welcoming, it was spotlessly clean, the kitchen very big and well equipped, the perfect place for entertaining.
We would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a getaway to the countryside, but still within easy reach of the lovely town of Ludlow. A special mention must be made to the housekeeper Holly for preparing the cottage so perfectly.
